This was my first graphic novel and I loved it! Love what they did in this version of Sabrina!

Subtext warning
(SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT READ!) The art and the print was great. So very quality stuff material wise. But I thought it had some subtext that I didn’t approve of which seemed demonizing for marketing and rating purposes, such as the Della character and Sabrina’s starry eyed obsession with her and the restaurant that seemed to resemble a moon after she met with the Della character. Seemed creepy to me and gave a bad influential subtext that I think is dangerous and irresponsible. The same fore mentioned character Della is also on the witch’s council who in the previous book in the series suggested that the witch’s council rejected the last villain of the series bc they were misusing science and magick but she wasn’t too great either considering she was on the witch’s council and was a sort of hazel and gretel witch villain herself. So that doesn’t make sense.

for Sabrina fans
Another great read in the Sabrina saga! I really enjoy the art style and interpretation of classic Sabrina characters. Look forward to future volumes.

More Magic More Mayhem!
I had a lot of fun with the first volume of this series and this second one doesn't disappoint either! Sabrina's life is getting more and more complicated as she struggles to balance her life as a witch and as a normal teen. There's relationship angst, questions over who Sabrina can trust as well as plenty of magical mayhem and monsters. I like all of the characters and I'm pretty much in love with the art, especially the colouring. This storyline does edge us into darker territory, without losing the fun and vibrancy that the first volume had, also, as a side note, can we please keep the magical card game duelling. Maybe it's the Yu-Gi-Oh fan in me, but I really enjoyed that. Looking forward to further volumes!
