The best.
My five year old grandson loves it.

Defective and broken
It was completely broken out of the box. The front of the gun had a leak so it can’t hold any air pressure. A complete waste of money.

The best super soaker to buy right now! (more on the leakage)
It's been a long time since we had a proper Super Soaker with a trigger, and this one performs just as good as the original and put's all of the mainline Super Soakers to shame, as for the leaking problem that everyone is talking about this is not a defect it's there to keep the water from spraying out too hard which is kind of lame but it can be fixed with a mod, but if you don't feel like taking it apart then just push up on the trigger demonstrated in the picture that I posted it will stop some of the leakage, besides that I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a water gun with good performance.

Toy leaks everywhere and range is awful
You will get more wet than your intended target. Was hoping to spray a dilute peppermint oil solution in my attic and at raccoons so they would stop eating my roof and causing leaks in my kitchen, but if I were to try and use this to apply the peppermint oil in my attic I would end up smelling like a candy cane for years.I cannot believe how much it leaks. It leaks at the main tank seal. It leaks at the trigger. The package says to pressurize the tank with 10 pumps, but anything over 6 pumps causes the water to shoot out of the "barrel" without depressing the trigger (overpressure safety?) and 6 pumps is only enough for about 10 feet of range. Very disappointed. They don't make em like they used to.Would not recommend unless you like disappointment and plan to use it in a swimming pool or as a prop.

Stopped holding pressure
The product looks very close to the old ones. The weight of it is much less than what I remember though. Unfortunately, it worked for around two days then stopped holding pressure. It just sort of turned into a cloud of water instead of a stream. Even out of the package after a certain point it would come out of the nozzle and not hold anymore. The new twist lock is easy to use for the tank so that’s pretty nice.Maybe with a few adjustments they could make it work properly.

Somewhat tricky to fill for young kids.
Great fun toy. The 9 yr old limit is reasonable. Exit stream is strong, especially at close range. Should have adult supervision.

Ehhh
It’s ok for the price but it’s not the same as the old skool super soaker
