Great kelp powder!
I have been using this brand of kelp for about 4 years. It is a bit pricey, but it is worth it. I give it to my dogs each night on their food to keep skin issues at bay, in the hot humid Texas summers. Works like a charm! No hot spots.

Works wonders for keeping red/brown dogs dark!
This product was recommended to me from other dog show enthusiasts for darkening up my red tri Aussie. I keep him out of the sun during the summer but he still had some sun bleaching over his rear end. I started giving him this about a month before our big National show and by the time the show got here he had darkened up considerably and was no longer sun bleached. This was coming INTO summer (June in Texas). If anything the bleached areas should’ve been getting worse, not better. I’ve now been giving it to him daily all summer long and he’s just gotten darker. I get lots of compliments on how dark and rich his color is. The flavor must also be ok because he’s a picky eater but he eats this in his food just fine. I just use a spray bottle with plain water in it to wet his kibble just enough to make it stick and he gobbles it right up.I’ve since recommended it to many other Aussie friends. If you’re needing a supplement to help with your dogs pigment this will definitely do the trick!(For my 30 pound boy I give 2 tsp a day on his food)

Akita's need iodine = Akita's need Norwegian Ocean Kelp.
I bought this really for the iodine content to give to my Akita puppy. She was in the middle of blowing her puppy coat and it was pretty patchy. Within 1 week of feeding her Kelp with every meal (3 times a day) her coat looks like that of a mature Akita. She is pinto and the contrast in her coat is simply beautiful, the whites of her legs are vibrant and her back and face are jet black.Akita's suffer from a lack of iodine and there really isn't a dog food you can buy that will satisfy this need, so you have to use additives. There isn't a more natural way of getting it into her than powdered kelp.I really couldn't tell you if she likes or dislikes the taste as I could pretty much cut up a pair of shoes and she'd eat them with a smile on her face. But she hasn't refused it once and that's good enough for me.I started giving it to my 5 year old Siberian Husky and my 9 year old Malti-Poo also and their coats are looking a lot better.Norwegian Ocean Kelp Supplement for Dogs is a great idea for any dog and from what I have read, but an absolute MUST for Akita's.Will be getting that massive 6lb tub when this 2lb pouch runs out. Judging by the tiny scoop you give them, it looks like it will last a few months without a breaking a sweat.5/5

Natural Deterrent for Fleas and Ticks
We use this product as a natural deterrent for fleas and ticks on our dogs. I admit that we live in town so the need isn't as great as if we lived in the woods. The dogs love it as we mix it in with their raw food and they digest it easily. They also seem attracted to the smell! With the raw diet and the correct supplements, our dogs are ready for action as they are full of energy. It's worth the money.

Worth Every Penny
I am delighted with the results! This product has really helped my boy Ngozi recover his beautiful coat. It has been about three weeks and I can SEE and FEEL the improvement in his coat. It also helps with the shedding. (Ngozi is a German "Shedder!) It must taste good too because his brother, Kwazi got into the bag today and helped himself. I hadn't given it to Kwazi because he has allergies and I wanted to find out what our vet thought about giving it to Kwazi too. If he has no ill effects I'll give it to him too.I could have strangled him about eating so much because of the cost and a swept up what I could from the carpet. So who knows, maybe the"Beastie Boyz" will both be taking Norwegian Kelp!

Walking better!
My St. Bernard/Shepard boy has been taking this for just under two weeks and I think he is doing a lot better. He is almost 4 years old and has hip dysplasia and knees that need surgery. I started adding this to his food with water each morning and he seems to be getting up easier and limping less. I even took him on a much longer than usual walk yesterday, where he ran a very small amount, and he seemed okay after. (Normally this would put him out for at least 12 hours)The only other supplement I’ve added to his regimen are these Glucosamine hip and joint chews with hemp that I bought on Amazon from Buddy&Max. He was already taking omegas and the Dasuquin chews, and I was giving him CBD but ran out and figured the Buddy&Max had Hemp so I’d try with out for awhile.Anyways, seems to be working better than expected. I’m not sure if it’s made a different on his coat yet, my dog has a great beautiful coat already.

My two Boxer dogs LOVE it!
Hey all, this really is a great product. I am a firm believer in (as natural as possible) nom noms for my fur children. They both absolutely love this stuff, they hear me opening the bag and come running like "hey ma, you gonna share that, right?". It definitely has helped one of my doggos with her hip issues (she's a rescue with a very neglectful background) and does wonders for their skin/coats. Also, it seems to be a tame additive for sensitive tummies, as one of my puppers has a sensitive GI system and doesn't show symptoms of any issues. 10 of 10 stars if I could!
