Keep the length in mind.
This is good stuff, I’m confident in my rather heavy outdoor project being sewn with it and withstanding the elements. But keep the length in mind, it’s only 125 yards of thread so you’ll need 3.2 spools to equal a 400 yard spool of regular all-purpose thread. I ordered four spools assuming I’d have more than enough and a spool or two for the thread stash. Glad I “overordered” since I wasn’t paying attention to the difference, it was just enough, barely.

Coats & Clark is an excellent brand for sewing thread.
This thread was heavy duty and I used it to sew on canvas with no problem. Also the two pack was an excellent value for the money.

Coats and Clark has been a staple in my family for many years now. I'm a big time sewer and like staying stocked on my favorite brand that I've counted on for years.

Okay-ish. Would not repurchase.
It seems like all polyester thread these days just sucks. This is not wispy thin like the cheaper stuff, but it is not great either. It doesn't snap off like most threads now, but it tangles and knots super easily. I love the Coats and Clark nylon blend thread; that stuff is indestructible and a joy to work with. Compared to that, this is a big disappointment, and doubly-so for something marketed as "heavy duty." It did work for my purposes, but I would not buy it again. I think it is overpriced for what it is.

Nice quality for a fair price
I wanted a smooth strong thread to do a heavy duty project and that is what I got. Could not ask for better than that. They were delivered quickly with the pins I needed for the same project and as a result the project is completed and is making my bed warm and cosy.

Always handy to have available
I like to keep a couple spools of this thread on hand for when I need a little extra strength/durability for my sewing. It's sturdier than regular sewing thread but not as heavy-duty as what I use for upholstery sewing. It's also good for hand basting as it pulls out easily after any seams are made or it can be left it for reinforcement on the seams.
