Great NV at an Incredible Price!
This unit is great! This is my first foray into NV and I wasn’t interested in springing for a Gen 2+ or Gen 3 unit and heard nothing but good things about the Aurora. I’ve been showing it off and have already sold 2 more for them!

Not great, not terrible. Get the PRO instead
Firmware update: after the latest 1.3x update there is a slight improvement in motion lag. Seems motion lag is now worse on photo mode but better on video mode. It seems slightly more useable, as a toy, however still completely useless without IR illumination. Therefore you might as well just run a flash light.I understand this is budget NV, and when paired with IR illumination, it’s mind blowing. But after playing around with it for a week every night mounted to a team Wendy helmet, I can say its not much better than what your eye can see when adapted to the darkness. When adding IR illumination, then things wake up. However if you were in a SHTF scenario IR will light you up like the sun.So don’t make the mistake I made, get the PRO edition.

If ur Comfortable with VR this is for you
what a great piece of kit better than i could hope for , i plan on buying another to run as bino's on my helmet . yes there is a tiny bit of lag but if you every used a HTC vive than you will be ok . i just love this Camera only draw back is it can use any micro SD cards bigger than 32 gig and for the price you would think it would come with a bag but nope . yes that is my biggest issue a freaking bag thats all i could fine wrong with it . Great Buy Great Value

Pretty impressed at the color nv.
Good value for what you get. Not gen3 night vision but considering you can record with this thing and/or mount to a rifle if you have pests on your property to eradicate. Pretty good picture in low light. Supplementary IR definitely helps.

Cool camera but unfortunately bait and switch resulted in not getting everything promised
Initial impression was positive until I noticed that the SD card, case and extra battery were missing. The item page on Amazon clearly states they should be included (attached) and doesn't state anything to the contrary. I contacted the seller asking about these items but they were not interested in honoring what was promised...very shady.

Not for tactical applications
The screen shuts off constantly. If you wear glasses it doesn't sense your eye and shuts off constantly. I presume that's why. It doesn't focus enough to not wear glasses when using it. Ability to head mount is limited. Battery life is a joke and was less for me than advertised, plus it takes a while to turn on. Ultimately I found my Gen 1 goggles to be better than this and thermal better than both. The quality of the night vision clarity is really good, but the other aspects of the tool make it less than useful for actually using in a tactical application.

Not For Weapons Use with Red Dot Sights
I was really excited when these were announced. Smaller and lighter than other comparably priced options, and weapon mountable. Unfortunately, I tried two different versions of tube-based red dot sights (Sig Romeo 5, and Aimpoint PRO), and the results were less than stellar. Because the two tubes are different sizes, you end up with a super tunnel vision effect, along with reflection and refraction from the tube housing as well. I have attached a picture to show what I'm talking about. I'm sending this one back, (was never used for live fire, just demoed around the yard) and going to a different option.

excellent for sportting , recreational but not for tactical use.
It is a good scope for what it intended for.As for a weapon mount night vision I have to say NO. May be for airsoft match. I wouldn't depend my life on it.If they could fix the lagging visual video and make bigger viewing screen then it would be the scope that rock the tactical night equipment.
