Broadlink finally done it!
I've had several versions of the Broadlink, and other RF/IR repeaters, this one smashes the rest. Really well done. Initial set up and paring - painless. I was shocked at how easy it was (given past experiences) and the fact it worked first time! Programming Remotes - not much has changed, simple and easy to do App - (Android) MUCH better than e-control and IHC apps - clean interface, no junk, no dodgy permissions Alexa Paring - simple, linked to account, all devices found first time (and working*) Slightly smaller than the previous RMPro seemingly twice as powerful. *ONLY downside ALL appliances have to be configured as "lights" unless you have official (Philips, samsung, Nest) products.

Disappointing and misleading
I bought the RM4 pro, with HTS2 (tldr, good - build quality possibility of functionality, bad - cant manage notifications, CANT ADD RF DEVICES, no dates on the temperature logging, no ifttt linking for temp sensor, only toggle for tv power) Where to begin, it looks good, however not without its problems, it arrived and connected up to the wifi fine, added IR devices mostly okay, but cant add any RF devices, tried 2 different RF sockets, both working on the 433 range, it didnt accept either, both with the remote and using the i don't have the remote option, I have a had some problems with the IR devices, working when clicked into, but from the home page it said something along the lines of, it needs to be added and relearned, there also only seems to be a toggle for the IR on / off which means, often devices will end up out of sync with eachother or a trigger the HST2 (temperature and humidity sensor add on) automatically shows up under the device, and logs the data well enough, however it needs to have some break down that shows what day it was logged on, currently you can scroll back all the way back to the beginning of time, with no reference as to the day you're looking at, also there is currently no way to link the temperature sensor to IFTTT to use it as a trigger for things (like turning a socket on with a heater connected or to send a IR command to an AC unit) the notification feature is useful aside from the fact, ive made 2 notifications, and dont show that they exist, I thought it wouldnt make it, but it seems its made them, and now i just cant edit them there is also currently no widgets available, which would be really nice to be able to make a tablet with a load of widgets on which can be used to control the home, there also needs to be some way of linking scenes to IFTTT, (although i have found ifttt to be painfully slow for alot of things), also, not sure what / where the home device takes its weather info from, but I'm pretty sure its not accurate once the RF and notifications are fixed, itll probably be 4 stars until then, it doesnt fully work and i cant recomend it EDIT 21MAY20 I have contacted Broadlink support regarding being unable to add my RF sockets and was told in the email that because my devices are 433.92 it is above the 433MHz range that the device supports and that it wont be possible to add any of my devices, DESPITE the fact that on their website it specifically says the RF Frequency is 433.92 (see attached screenshot)
