Update (6/1/23): Purchased a second sensor since another original 13 year-old sensor developed a leak at the valve stem threads from corrosion. Swapped it out in 15 minutes and works great. Still loving the simplicity of the Mazda system and not going to tire shops.Original Review:This sensor was installed with zero issues on a 2010 Mazda 6 where repeated salt exposure in the Northeast managed to eat holes in the threads of the aluminum valve stems. The original sensor was going strong at 12 years so I wanted the same VDO design. I picked up a cheap bead breaker at the local H F and easily changed it out on a 50 series tire on a 17 inch wheel. With just a few minutes of work, I only saved around $12 total versus the local tire shop. The convenience of not setting up an appointment and waiting was worth way more, especially as the other three wheels will eventually require the same procedure. These sensors are already programmed. Simply install, turn the ignition on and off, wait 15 minutes then drive over 30 mph for 10 minutes to relearn. There are no special tools required for the Mazda 6.

Work great and saves money!
I drive a 2008 Nissan Frontier SE King Cab 4x4. After months of staring at the TPMS light on the dashboard I decided to have it fixed. I checked with a local tire shop and they wanted $475 to replace all four. I inquired about installing them if I bought them and they wouldn't do it. I finally found a local no name tire shop and they said they would install them if I brought them in, for $50. They said they had to be reset after installation and they didn't have the tool to do it. I went ahead anyway and had them installed. So far I only spent $165 for all four. The light remained on. I didn't want to pay to have them reset somewhere else so I checked out some videos on YouTube. There are several videos that explain how to reset them yourself with a paper clip. Yes, a paperclip! I can't go into the whole process here but the short version is you let air out of each tire to a specific PSI. Next you turn on the ignition without starting the vehicle. The TPMS light will blink for 1 minute then burn solid. Next you jam one end of the paperclip into the TPMS connector located under the dash. (the videos explain how to locate it) Next you tap the other end of the paper clip six times on a metal ground until the light starts flashing again. The TPMS units are now in a learning mode. you then drive the vehicle until the light goes out. It will then come back on because you let air out of the tires. Put air back into the tires to the specified PSI located on your door jam, drive the car a few miles and the light should go out. This works! I know it sounds like a lot of steps, but just watch the videos and you will understand how to do it. It's been about a month and the light has remained off.

I recommend buying a set (4) and replacing ALL your sensors at once.
I suggest you install these when you buy / install NEW tires or you will more than likely PAY for installing them into your existing tires. After installation (requires removing current tires from rims, installing these into the rim, then remounting the tire). If you have the equipment and know how to R & R your tires, good. Most people do not and leave it to a professional tire store. I did. Same tire store I have being going to for 12 years. After they're installed , they must be synced with your cars on board computer. If you have that tool, great. If not, again, leave it to a tire installer. I purchased new tires from TireRack.com (no tax - free shipping). Took them to my tire dealer at the time my car needed new tires. Before mounting the new tires, the old sensors were removed and these replaced them. Once the tires were installed, the tire specialist synced the new tire monitors to the cars on board computer. This evolution, including local tax was $95. An exceptional price. Beware when you do this, that not all tire installers are the same and price "gouging" can happen. Shop around before you decide. Then go and TALK with the installer.Beware your local car dealership pricing. These sensors are OEM at a very reasonable price. OEM (General Motors) price (including tax) is a little over $100 EACH. 4 of these at the Amazon price is decidedly better ! There are batteries installed in these so they can "talk" to your car's on board computer. I drive a small roadster convertible. These fit perfect and perform as expected.

Very impressed with the value
My TPMS light started flashing 10 minutes into my drive. This is indicative of a system fault. Low tire pressure is indicated by a solid TPMS dash light. I immediately suspected a tire pressure sensor had stopped working. This product requires no programming, if you look up the correct vehicle application. In my case it was a 2005 Mazda 3 Hatchback. The hardest thing about this purchase was finding a tire place willing to put it on. They all wanted me to buy their TPMS sensors which were all around $90 each. Then you have to pay for mounting the tire on the rim. I found a really nice tire shop way out in a rural area and the owner did it for me no questions asked - for $20. Sure enough, after driving around for 5 minutes, the TPMS light went away. All is well once again. Beware of tire retailers that won't touch this unless you use their parts and pay their high prices. Find a good mom and pop shop or mechanic and skip the outrageous dealer prices.

2007 Silverado, new body. Ordered 4. All DOA and never responded to vehicle relearn or TPMS tools.
Ordered 4. All DOA. Wasted about 100 dollars. None of them responded to factory vehicle relearn procedures (as advertised by manufacturer) or various TPMS tools.I was very suspicious when the sensors did not arrive in factory branded packaging. However, even though the items were in suspicious looking homemade packaging, a business card from metro24wholesale.com was included. This company is supposed to be veteran owned and I’m active duty, so I figured I’d allow them some latitude. I wasn’t able to attempt install immediately due to a hand injury. A few months later, after I healed enough to try, I ran into problems. None of the sensors ever responded to the factory vehicle relearn procedures (as advertised from manufacturer) and I’m well beyond return date for a refund. Purchase at your own risk. Disappointing.

Impressive product so far
Had it replaced on my ‘09 mazda 6 2.5L after experiencing low tire pressure and tpms light on. Fast shipping easy application to my local shop and so far so good . I definitely recommend this. I’ll be updating if anything changes

Junk, will loose and reestablish connection randomly
It does work, but on 2007 trailblazer, will loose connectivity randomly. Thankfully I only bought 1.

They don't work. Bought 4 and only got around 20 km before they stopped working
If I could give a zero I would. Bought 4 of these so I wouldn't have to worry about seeing the low tire pressure light. And after 20 km guess what . Yep. That light flashing and now it's on solid. Total waste of money and time. I wouldn't recommend these.
