Philips AVENT 12 oz 2 Pack Straw Cups - Boy Colors

We have bought several hundred dollars worth of different brands of sippy cups. These by far are the best! The main two problems these have after daily us and hand washing the silicon straw end has torn on a number of the straws (but they do sell replacements you can also buy here on amazon which is what we have done). I think some of the reason the straws break down is because of my son who sometimes like to hold his cup between his teeth with no hands. ;) The other issue is if you put something like pop in them or forget to take juice out when you set it on the counter to be washed and leave it for few hours you will get some back pressure and when you twist the straw cover it will explode all over your ceiling.I also have found that when I put a item like cold milk from the refridge into the cup you must take a few sips other wise you will have pressure from the cold cup and the warm air of the house creating pressure and you will have a minor leak.Overall I love these cups and feel safe even taking them on car trips as the straw is super soft and the cup almost never leaks on us (as long as you follow my advice above). I find these cups easy to clean thoughly and have put them in our dishwasher without any problems. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING THESE!!

This does not leak!!! Not even upside down, with my son shaking it like a rattle! I have tried SO MANY of them & most leak. It is just COMPLICATED to pull completely apart! I read the instruction 57 times & just had to figure it out by trying it praying! But it is worth it because the lack of leaks & measurements are fantastic!

I was somewhat uncertain about these cups because I find overly-complicated cups a bother. And it did take me a good 3-4 minutes to suss out the lid assembly/disassembly (how much do I miss the days of detailed instructions with words?!), BUT once I had that sussed out, the process is pretty simple and -- importantly -- they are wonderfully leak-proof. I had just bought a Thermos Foogo which I really wanted to be happy with. But unfortunately my son fiddles with the silicon spout/straw on it too much to the point where it inevitably starts leaking. Well, we don't have that problem with these. I didn't expect to care much about tucking the straw inside, but it actually is a pretty nice feature. Another issue that we've had with other straw cups is that the straw isn't quite long enough and so my son would end up with a little bit of his water left in the bottom that wouldn't come out (seems like a pretty obvious design element, but you'd be surprised how often it is apparently overlooked). Well, I'm happy to report that isn't an issue with these cups either. :)Very happy with these cups and recommend them if leak-proof and (mostly) uncomplicated construction is important to you!

I used Avent bottles for my twins and thought they were wonderful. Not alot of parts to clean and they both didn't have problems with gas, etc. I wanted to get them something with a straw but some of the ones I tried were either too cumbersome to clean or the straw didn't go all the way down. These are great because the straw reaches to the bottom of the cup and I love the built in feature that closes the straw when not in use. It doesn't spill at all. The only part thats a little annoying is that there are 2 parts to the cover and its a little annoying to remove them but overall a great product and I like that its made in England like all the Avent products. I also like that you can buy replacement parts for the straw if needed.

These are the BEST straw cups ever. I used them for my daughter after trying every sippy cup I could think of and she finally was able to get it with these. Fast forward 3 years and pretty much the same story with my son. He would not take any of the hard top sippies. The soft tops he would stick his finger in and make a huge mess. I tried other straw cups bc for some reason I could not find these in our Wal-Mart anymore and he just couldn't figure it out. I ordered these from Amazon and I kid you not, he figured it out on the first try. These cups lock into place. They do not leak at all! Not unless they somehow would push the straw all the way in, unlatching it from the inside. My kids have never done that!

I ordered a blue and a red cup and received 2 red ones and are not even red but PINK! I have a boy and not very happy with my pink cups. Also, they turned very slow, cheap plastic used. I tend to believe these are not real Phillips Avent but something fake.I have when I order something and get something else!!! If I wanted pink, I have ordered just like that.

Fortunately the goods arrived but they sent two blue baby bottlesWhen you make my purchase order had to be a blue and a pink bottle for my daughterI hope that next purchase will be more careful and check the merchandise well ask before I send her

These cups lasted till the kids stopped using sippy cups

The cup itself is nice and I do like the fact that you can measure how much your toddler has had to drink. However, the straws are too short and flimsy. My daughter isn't able to use them properly even though she can drink from other straws just fine. I will not be ordering these again but I do use them with the attachment for the Avent sippy cups though and they work much better. The cup itself is great, just not the straw!

Best Sippy cups

Bought this one for my 22 months old girl. As other reviewers mentioned, it is not easy to suck, although my kid likes it. Also, the picture shows 2 bottles with blue and red color, but they arrived with both red color.
