WeatherTech Cargo Trunk Liner for BMW i3 - Trunk (40659) Black

Fairly lightweight, and looks nice. Actually odorless, unlike the two other cheap mats that I bought (those were 1/4th of the price, but they stinked so bad I had to return them). My main gripe with the Weathertech is the price, hence the one star shaved off.

Fit perfectly in my 2017 BMW i3. Has a nice lip around the edges. Has areas you can cut out to access the metal hooks (what the heck are the hooks for anyway?!). It was very soft and floppy, which I wasn’t expecting, but it is doing the job nicely.The only thing I wish it had was a Velcro bottom to prevent sliding, but I really haven’t had issues. This cargo cover for the back area of my i3 does what I need nicely.

This fits my 2018 BMW i3 perfectly and protects as promised for the trunk. The only reason we ordered from Amazon and not WeatherTech directly was the shorter ship time with Prime. The cost was either the same or a few dollars cheaper through Amazon.

This mat works and fits well in the i3. Because it was rolled up in the box, it took a while to "re-mold" itself to the trunk area. I just put some hand weights down in the corners for a couple of days and that worked like a charm.It has the cut-outs (you'll need to cut them) for the latch holders too. I haven't cut mine out yet as I haven't needed them yet.Protects your investment. Needed buy for your i3!

I was happy to find this custom trunk liner, we ordered the black one which came rolled up in an OEM carton, a catalogue was included but no instructions how to best cut the liner. The item was bent in various locations so we placed it in the trunk and put multiple weights on it over night which worked well, it now lays pretty flat. The cutout areas for the hooks are in comparison big, we therefore chose to cut slits that allowed just the hooks to pass through and on the other side help to better keep the liner in place. Would have been nice to have such an option prestamped into the liner. We learned after the fact from the Weathertech webpage that Amazon actually is not a certified seller for Weathertech products, therefore unfortunately no warranty coverage is going to be provided.

Awesome product! Fits the back of the car perfectly. Couldn’t ask for a better fit or finish.

Bought the weathertech trunk liner after getting the floor mats and loving those. Fit on the cargo mat is great and material is nice and durable. I think I'll get weathertech mats over any new car manufacturer's set.

Love having this mat to protect my trunk area.
