8# bag is a good price
The 8# bag of fertilizer weighs 8#, verified by scale. The writeup on Amazon said it weighed 3.7#, so I almost didn't buy this product. The 8# bag is the best deal. It is twice as much fertilizer as the 4# bag for just 33% more cost. It will fertilize about 8 azaleas with a drip line circumference of about 30-36 inches each. I used a 4# bag of this product when I planted 3 small azaleas and a rhododendron a year ago, and it gave them a hardy start with lots of blooms the first year.
