Fascinating read
This book had some amazingly profound insight. I’ve considered reading it for about 10 years. I am a bit surprised that through other avenues and spiritual developments I already was aware of most of the information within. I still remain a bit skeptical. Was this woman really an imaginative person telling very tall tales and a natural actor to convince a doctor. Is the doctor truly even a doctor with real credibility I honestly don’t even know yet but plan to eventually read anything discrediting him. For now though I’m digesting these ideas further while suspending my disbelief yet not blindly believing and trusting. Thoughts and ideas though not perfect, can still be wonderful catalysts that lead to growth and further development.

Worth the read
A lot of negative reviews focus on the fact that he listed a specific year BC when describing the regression. If I were to imagine the authors response, it would be that the elder spirits gave knowledge of this to Catherine during her regression.Other reviews comment on how the real Catherine has never been found, casting doubt onto her existence. While this may be true, what I appreciate about her anonymity is that she has nothing to gain from telling these stories, other than knowing that there's a book about her therapy sessions. No notoriety, fame, or online seminar. It's just her telling her experience.I do wish the author had put more energy into trying to verify specific details of experiences though, similar to the researchers at UVA. It seems like such an obvious next step. I understand it was the 1980s when this occurred, so it may have been difficult to research, but in the 40 years since some effort should have been put in.It's an interesting read, and at times quite emotional, but Weiss doesn't quite carry the ball across the finish line the way I would have liked. A newer edition of the book might address some of these shortcomings.

fantastic read
Could not stop reading..It’s interesting from beginning to end talking about reincarnation principle. But getting messages as part of sessions is very intriguing.
