I had a problem with my small lathe and factory replacement parts aren't available. This plugged in and worked without any problems. I also have 2 extras if it fails again.

Only used one so far out of the 3-pack. My 4 year old son was a little iffy 😮 about his razor dirt quad when I went up from 24v to 36v setup. Bought these potentiometers to slow it down for him where he feels comfortable. Installed on green wire from throttle to controller. Made a bracket out of a random plastic piece I chopped up from a junk box /project box for these types of situations. tinkering. Just You-Tube how to install these if you have little to no electrical experience. Simple to do.

For anyone interested in using this with an arduino-like project, the potentiometers that I received are wired incorrectly. It seems that the black wire is to be connected to the analog pin, the yellow wire to ground, and the red to positive. They work fine with 3.3V as well.

The only thing I didn't like was that the black wire (usually neg) is soldered to the middle lead. For me the pos and neg wires should be on the two outside leads.

I use this product on my grandchildren’s electric quad. I have varying ages of grandchildren requiring varying speeds. This product allowed me to do that.

I had an electronic device (radiography viewer) that was acting up that had this exact same piece in it. Once I replaced this, it started working like a brand new unit. Was super happy this was an easy fix!

The product is good and works as it should.

So far they seem to be excellent quality, but make sure to check which wires are for what first. I foolishly assumed that black was ground and accidentally shorted my circuit, but the potentiometer still worked afterwards despite the puff of smoke that came from it! Btw ground was yellow and black was signal.
