Angle Bracket 2

Replaced the RV mattress in my trailer with a normal queen size one and used thicker plywood with a better bed frame. I needed to install larger gas struts to hold the additional weight. I didn't like how the original brackets attached so I bought these ones. The new struts are 150 lbs each. The bed is easy to lift and much sturdier than the original design. So far I'm happy with these brackets. If anything changes over the camping season, I'll update this review.

I bought a pair of these to add a gas strut to hatch on a home-built boat. Bracket is nice quality, good plating, and ball mount is solidly attached. It has been in service for a few months now, with no issues.

Works for the bed on my camper. No problem installing.

Works well. Would suggest using a metal backing plate if you go over 50 lbs.

I used these to repair a snug-top camper shell that was purchase used (hence no lifetime warranty) the original had broken off clean at the triangle piece. The parts snug-top uses are buried in the fiberglass not screwed in. What I ended up doing is clearing the fiberglass off of the top of the existing metal plate and bonding these to it. This spaced the replacement out properly so it was not too close to the glass as these are a little taller. I ran 4 screws, two self tapping into the thick portion of the fiberglass and two machine on the furthest screw holes that go thru from the rain channel. Working perfectly thus far.
