Suncraft Knife

This little knife was purchased mostly as a paring knife for fruit. I need one with a sheath so I could keep it in my desk. The knife is very sharp, well-made and the sheath is a snug fit. The handle is comfortable and the polyurethane finish over wood grain is attractive. There is an area on the handle where the finish is rough (overspray), hence the 4 stars. I'm sure this will serve me well for years to come and sharpen easily when needed.

I bought one of these years ago—like, before the financial crisis. It always worked beautifully, despite the abuse I subjected it to—cutting on poor surfaces, leaving it wet, etc. This knife went with me to Mexico and Honduras, Guatemala and Peru. Now, I am just delighted to be able to replace it with same awesome quality and even a lower price than I remembered. Thank you, Suncraft!

Is what it is. Cheap sharp cheap looks good cheap don't use it for anything heavy or it will break and cut you. I'm not unhappy but it's not a good choice if you need a pearing knife cheap or not. For a home kitchen quick grab I'd buy the whole line in a minute

Highly recommended high quality knife

This knife represents a good value for the money spent. The blade guard fits snugly and serves to protect the edge in a drawer. The knife holds its edge quite well, yet sharpens pretty easily (I use diamond stones). The handle is not teak, as was advertised, but has a nice lacquer finish applied that appears to wear well as long as you don't soak it in the dishwater.

We had one similar given to us as a gift. It became the wife's favorite kitchen knife over the expensive knives in the drawer. We ordered this one, it was as good as the original. I would add it to my tackle box if she was not looking.

Good value. The fit and finish isn't perfect, but it is functional and does the job. Good for a knife drawer because the sheathed blade is safe. Light handle is a bit narrow, and not a great grip, so not great for extended use. Blade has reach and is narrow throughout so no serious leverage should be applied. Great for fruit.

We've had this knife for over a decade and it is fabulous! Sharp, great length blade, really nice blade geometry. Allows for really precision cutting. Has stayed in place in the sheath all these years. Can't say enough good stuff about it.
