Going to try to use for a bike holder in the pickup truck. Looks as if it will do what I wanted it to do. Only issue was the coating was applied after the threads were cut and the threads had to be cleaned out with a tap.

Super robust

After installing L-Track on the walls of an aluminum storage closet on the back of my truck camper, I wanted an L-Track accessory that would allow me to mount a pair of MaxTrax on them. This product makes this possible. Using 2-3/8" long bolts and four screw-on knobs, my MaxTrax are now firmly held in place. This accessory seems expensive for what it is, and I hate that I cannot get it in a silver color to match every other L-track accessory that I use, but I haven't found anything that offers similar functionality. I'm happy to have it available to me, and I recommend it to anyone who requires its functionality. One final note: For whatever reason, this product accepts a 3/8-24 fine-thread stud which is much harder to find than a standard 3/8-16. It is also harder to find accessories that fit on a 3/8-24 stud. What I ended up using is a stud that has 3/8-24 threads on one end and 3/8-16 threads on the other. These are considered automotive studs. They are available on Amazon in various lengths from the company "Hard-to-Find Fastener".

Got these for mounting light fixtures in my camper van. They are super heavy duty but still rattle in the L-track. It would be great to have mounting bolts included too, which they aren't.

I'm a new fan of L Track rails. They are compact and offer a really fine level of adjustment being able to slide them a small amount at a time. I really like these studs as they provide a versatile mounting point for most anything. I like that anything you could connect with a 3/8" bolt can be connected to this stud. It would be perfect for connecting a tire chalk for motorcycles. I'm also looking at how these can be used as a way to secure a wood box we use for camping gear in the back of the truck. The anchor points seem to be really strong and while they are really easy to slide in and lock, they seem like they will stand up to years of abuse. I really like that they are double studs and seem to provide not only a secure anchor but the two studs provide a good foundation from lateral movement.
