I give it 4 stars because I like it very much and it works great but has a small flaw. The knows on the side loosen up when the shield goes up and down. Not a big deal but sometimes inconvenient. Other than that I use it everyday and love it.

while welding I always had dingleberries come over the top inside of my hood which was really annoying. Would not buy again
The artwork is stretched and dark. The head strap was always moving around on my head and I always had to mess with the mounting nuts. It either had to be too tight to move, or loose enough to not stay up. The 180° viewing area is a gimmick because it's contrasted against the glass. The window is really small and forces you to get really close to the arc. Also, while welding I always had dingleberries come over the top inside of my hood which was really annoying. Would not buy again.

Bought this for my hunny, he seems to really like it, likes the adjustability, he has commented on how clear he can see his work and how comfortable it is. Its a winner in my book, it keeps him safe and thats the main thing!

Meh.
I really wanted to like this mask but the sensors are not placed properly so they do not work if you are welding out of position, I have adjusted the mask multiple times but I just can't get it to come down enough so I feel like I'm really far away from the lense. Looks really cool but that's about it.

Looks good, but ehhhh...
Might be good for odd or do it yourself jobs, but I would not recommend for heavy use.Pros: First off, the looks. All their products look good out of the box and the shape is effective. Second the sensitivity and shade controls, including the grind mode are easy to adjust. Thirdly, the extra view on the sides is nice... That's about it.Cons: Flipping the mask up and down is a continuous battle as the knobs will always loosen (not TOO big of a deal). If you deal with MIG or stick welding, there is spatter to consider as well, so if you have to do overhead, vertical, or out of position you're likely to have some hit your helmet. This wouldn't be such a problem if the replacement s weren't so expensive. I'd rather spend the same money on a different brand and get replacement shielding lenses for a fraction of the cost.Conclusion/TL;DR: Great display or hobbyist welding helmet. Not effective for learning or heavy/overhead/out of position welding. Replacement lens prices are too steep in my opinion.
