KILZ TRIBUTE Paint & Primer, Interior, Eggshell, White Modern, 1 Gallon

Kilz brand paint is the absolute best! I got the Tribute interior semi-gloss. The paint is thick so I only need to paint once to get good coverage. (If I were covering a dark color, it might take two). I bought Benjamin Moore at a higher price and it was so thin, I’m not sure even two coats would’ve worked. I used Kilz interior paint on my whole house back in 2008 and it has been fantastic. Nothing but the highest of praise for this brand. I just wish there were more color options, only complaint.

Although I’ve always been a big fan of Kilz products, I had no idea they had a Tribute line of paint that is out of this world good. The quality is top notch. It is creamy but not too thick, the colors are beautiful, plus, the paint brushes and rolls on so perfectly without any streaks. One coat is perfect and two coats, although not necessary, is so dreamy. I purchased the color Suede to paint my floors. They look so good. I will seal them, of course but I can’t wait to use this line of paint on my walls. If you’ve never been totally satisfied with the paint products you’ve used in the past, please don’t hesitate to buy Kilz Tribute paint. Thanks

Did the job well, albeit a bit lighter than anticipated.

One coat miracle Paint. Love it. Painted 2 rooms with 1 gallon! Over dark paint!

Purchased to paint interior of mini-sun/mud room. The small container was perfect for this small area. The wood needed two coats because the wood was quite dry. Used a cheap 1-1/2 inch paint brush and brush strokes were not visible! Used paint from the container with very minimal drips or spatters. Spots were easily washed with a damp paper towel. Very minimal paint smell too. Also, left-over paint retained its consistency after several weeks and worked just as well as when first opened. Color was as indicated in the advertisement and dried the same color too! Highly recommend!

Bought this to paint my living room walls. At first I was skeptical of buying interior house paint on Amazon, but this product proved that skepticism was wrong. The paint showed up at my door in a couple days with no damage, the special box and packaging really protects the paint can inside. The stir stick was a nice surprise. Wish they would also include some type of tool to pry off the clips that secure the can lid. Kilz is known by most people as a really good primer brand, but, it seems to me that knowledge in making quality primers actually translated really well to this product because it is paint + primer all-in-one. In case you didn't know the same company that makes this paint also makes Behr paint that you buy from Home Depot. Seems like great paint to me! I've painted many homes/apartments/walls before, and I found that this paint was a little "thicker" than what I was used to, but in a good, higher quality way. Coverage was phenomenal and in one coat I was done. I've lived with the results for about a month now prior to this review and the living room really looks great with nice even coverage results that show well in all light/times of day. I'm not a skeptic anymore and will not hesitate next time I have a painting project to purchase more of this Kilz Tribute product from Amazon, no more waiting in line at the big box for this guy.
