It writes so well. Since it is cheap, I don't mind ruining the tip and press hard to make thick lines. It is the best brush pen I ever had.

I ordered these for my daughter who is learning Japanese and myself for writing Korean Hangul. I have tried several other calligraphy brush pens but they did not compare to these. These feel like a dream to write with. At times It feels like I am writing with a brush but with more control. I love the give the tip has. My daughter loved it also. I just saw after my order that some people only received one pen instead of three. Something to be aware of. I hope that was corrected for the customers.

Awesome calligraphy pen. Very crisp and clean lines, and very dark, pigmented ink. There is some stiffness in the brush so it's not as flexible--it's kind of like a marker, basically.

This wasn't the brush pen I was hoping it would be, but when you need a bold touch or to fill in a lot of black, these will do great.
