Dymatize Nutrition Elite Fusion-7 Drink, Cookie and Cream, 4 Pound

Good taste. Even the wifey liked it. But it does have a small aftertaste of the natural sweetener, Stevia. (Which is used to sweeten it). I do not mix my drink strong (thick), so I use about 10 to 12 ounces of ice cold water. (In my mind, this helps my body absorb it quicker, with the added benefit of adding more liquid to my body). It has a strong, sweet, taste - which I enjoy. If I were to use the recommended water per scoop in the instructions, it would be thicker and much too sweet for my taste. One day I actually added two scoops so me and the wifey could split a shaker cup after a long run...and she complained of its thick sweetness. I concurred. It is pretty darn sweet if using the recommended amount of water.By the way, this specific flavor mixes very well. I do not need to do anything extra to get it thoroughly mixed and dissolved. (Even with ice cold water). When mixed, I usually store it in the refrigerator until after my workout. (Which is thirty to 45 minutes, max). By that time, if there was ANY clumps, they would be gone.Does it work? Not 100% sure. It DOES have all the BCAA's that are needed for muscle recovery. (I run and also lift weights pretty intensely). And I HAVE noticed a bit less soreness when drinking it a few times after my weightlifting workouts. So I will say, "Yes...it works".I am also using the banana flavor, which my wifey actually prefers. She likes the Banana Smoothie...but I like this Orange-Dreamsicle better.I did notice that the Banana Smoothie and the Orange-Dreamsicle have just about the exact same nutritional value. But the Banana Smoothie had 105 mg's of sodium, whereas the Orange-Dreamsicle only had 80mg's of sodium per serving. (1 scoop equals 1 serving).I shopped around, and found the 4-pound jug at a very reasonable price. Bottom line, I am paying $1.20 per serving (1 scoop), which is exactly what I was looking for. (Free shipping). It replaces my traditional 20 gm protein bar after my workouts...and has much better muscle-building and recovering ingredients.I am very happy with the price, the ingredients, and the many positive reviews. Not JUST from AmazonDotCom, but also on YouTube and many other bodybuilding websites.Oh yea...I am also digging the fact that it gets it's protein from 7 different sources (hence the name Fusion 7), some of which are slower absorbing for long term protein absorption/recovery.It is gluten-free as well.Win win for this boy!

Fusion 7 is one of my favorite protein shakes. Due to the different proteins and different sizes of protein chains, it provides an extended release of protein. This is good anytime you will go an extended time without eating. I take it before bed and between meals. Upon waking or after a workout, I take a quality whey protein. Fusion 7 dissolves and mixes easily. However, I often use a small blender and mix in different items to provide some variety. This works best with vanilla and chocolate. For example, mix in some diet root beer and you've got a delicious tasking root beer float. Add a little flavored coffee creamers and your shake will taste like amaretto, coconut, bailey's, etc. I also add this protein to my no-sugar instant pudding mix for a high protein low carb snack. Overall, a great product that tastes terrific, has quality ingredients, and is somewhat budget friendly.

I've used many different brands of protein shakes and flavors for many years. I hit the gym regularly, ride a bike, and play tennis and racquetball among other activities. It is difficult for me to meet my daily protein requirements without supplementation. Whey is great right after a workout. However, Elite Fusion-7 is great before fasting such as before sleep or when I get too busy to eat "real" food at work. I enjoy all of the flavors, but chocolate is my favorite. It mixes easily, but I also use a blender to mix in peanut butter or flavored coffee creamers like coconut. Tastes like an almond joy! If you're looking for a great tasting complete protein drink at a reasonable price, this is it!

In my opinion Dymatize proteins are the best on the market...they taste outstanding and if you do your homework they have won awards for quality. I purchased Fusion 7 for an anytime protein supplement (it contains fast and slow "release" proteins) but I would also highly recommend their ISO 100 (birthday cake is awesome) for a post workout protein and their Casein for bedtime / overnight. The Fusion 7 Cookies and Creme has great taste; C and C isn't normally a flavor I go for but I thought I would try a small tub based on others' recommendations and to break things up a bit...I was very pleased with the flavor and will probably go for the 4lb tub next time. Very Pleased!

I'm giving it a three star just because I wish results were more noticeable. One thing that was nice was that it mixes down well in water. It also doesn't contain a few key ingredients that I try to avoid which is nice. Doesn't seem to have too much fake sugar either (based on sweetness). Worst part however, was that some for some reason this blend made my end trails VERY sticky like creamy peanut butter. I've never had any blend of protein do that but this one. Be prepared to wipe for hours! Lol

The taste is good. Dymatize is known for their "good-taste" product. Thump up for their recipe of combining whey and casein proteins, BCAA, and L-Glutamine. However, this Fusion series has lower solubility than the other series, such as Elite Gourmet and Elite Whey Protein. So, 4 star!!!

I really see results QUICKLY with this. Have tried many protein powders and I definitely am satisfied with the results of this one. I give it 4 stars only because (for me) it is SO sweet. You get used to it, but I wish it wasn't so "sugary" tasting.

Dymatize has obviously changed their recipe for all of the Fusion-7 line powders from the old line. The powder no longer fully incorporates into milk or water and there are small chunks. I use a blender bottle and shake many times and the powder still does not fully incorporate. The new orange flavor is good though. Strawberry and strawberry-banana should be avoided. Cookies-n-Cream is also a good flavor.

Mind blowing supplement, just mind blowing, I use it as a pick me up in the morning and post workouts, it helped me gain 7kg of lean muscle in a month! I'm looking ripped ' thanks for this product.

Mix ability and taste not as good as other dymtize whey products

A bit hard to blend without chunks and definitely don't mix with water, but tastes great with milk or soy.
