Excellent, easy to install just what I needed. Installed in larder unit which had twin plug socket behind but was covered during kitchen refit. Has enable them to be brought back into use. Looks neat.

I really wanted a cat flap but felt odd buying one as I don’t have a cat. This thing is like a cat flap in a wall but no cat is required. Genius. I can also now access the water valves in the wall.

Overall it looks ok, however the product is cheap. The plastic is flimsy and the latch isn’t good. I have shared a video showing how one side of the latch holds and the other not so well. Leaving the door sitting slightly down at one side. Once the door is closed and you look at it from a distance it doesn’t look bad. If you are going to use this hatch regularly then I wouldn’t recommend it. But if like for me it will be a rarity that it will be opened then it might be worth it. If the latch begins to fail on me as it is quite weak then I will return it. However so far so good. I also fixed the inner lining of this door to ceiling joists. However the holes that are pre cut along the inner lining of the hatch is 10mm in diameter. Far too big for a screw head to hold onto. So I had to pre drill small holes and fix the inner lining to the joist. Something to consider for fitting to timber. I would recommend but only at this cheap price. At the same time I would also suggest spending a little more and getting one that is more sturdy.

Ich habe diese Awenta Kunststoff-Zugangsklappentür gekauft, um eine Öffnung für die Wartung meiner Rohre sauber zu verschließen, und ich bin absolut zufrieden mit dem Produkt. Die Klappe macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck, obwohl sie aus Kunststoff ist. Das Design ist schlicht und unauffällig. Die Installation war dank der gut durchdachten Konstruktion sehr einfach. Die Tür sitzt perfekt in der Öffnung. Besonders gut gefallen mir die durchdachten Details. Der Türriegel schließt die Klappe sicher, und das verdeckte Scharnier sorgt für eine saubere Optik. Die Tür lässt sich bei Bedarf leicht abnehmen, was die Wartung sehr vereinfacht. Ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist auch die lackierbare glatte Oberfläche. So kann man die Klappe in der passenden Wandfarbe streichen, sodass sie fast unsichtbar wird. Für den Preis bekommt man eine sehr praktische und optisch ansprechende Lösung. Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die eine saubere und unauffällige Abdeckung für Revisionsöffnungen suchen.
