World Map - by Landmass Goods

Unbelievably satisfied with the quality of the map! Such a beautiful layout and love that it has every single country's flag included on it! Aside from falling in love with the map, my favorite part or the package was the box. It's so simple but yet unique! I love how you pull the airplane to open the box to reveal the tube containing the map inside. This is the perfect gift for any traveler! They'll love the vibrant colors when you scratch away the foil for each country they've visited! I definitely will buy another one in the near future for my close friends (:

I love this map. It is affordable and fun! I was looking for a product similar to this and they were very expensive. I like seeing all the states and countries that I have been to. I deducted one star because it is somewhat easy to accidently scratch off an area when handling and mounting the map. Overall, I recommend this product.

Awesome product! However, the scratch off material that is layered on top of the map doesn't match up with the map. It is off centered, so that when you scratch it off you accidentally go into other states or countries. It's not that big of a deal, doesn't totally mess the product up, but it is a bummer. I love how this map has the states and also has flags of all of the countries. It's really nice!

This map worked wonderfully when we took it out of the tube, and we scratched off a bunch of places. The next year when we took it out of its frame to scratch off more, it was slightly more difficult and didn't work as well (instead of pure color underneath, white was showing as well). Then this year when we took it out to scratch off some more countries, we couldn't get to any color at all with any type of scratcher. It just scratches everything off and does not work at all. I would love if the manufacturer would contact me to reimburse me for my money or send me another map.

The map came with a bunch of scratches. Its a nice quality map but because of the easily scrached surface its ruined the purpose of buying it (to scratch off places we have been) not for the surface to be scrached off before i get a chance to visit that place.

The media could not be loaded.  Do you love to travel or know someone who does? Do you love looking at a map and seeing all the places you've been? Well this map tracks your progress, one scratched off country/state/flag at a time. SO COOL.How about quality?My first thought was... GIFTS FOR MY TRAVELING FRIENDS!!! First I wanted to make sure I wasn't dumping them with crap, and blowing a bunch of coin in the process. I wasn't sure if it would scratch well, or if it would come on flimsy paper.Well, I'm glad I took the risk on this puppy. As someone who wants to eventually scratch off the entire map, I can tell you that this thing is made to outlast you or your friend's world travels. Ever gotten a $1 scratch ticket and the thing is nearly impossible to scratch off? Well it's hard to overstate just how easy and satisfying the scratching experience is here. Every bit glides off like butter. Super thick and glossy paper. I'm upset that I can't scratch off more countries. Getting to scratch off more of this map is motivation enough to travel more. I'm willing to say it's even more satisfying than peeling that plastic film off the front of new electronics.The most disappointing thing, yet most rewarding part of scratch map? Seeing how few places I've been to. I've never felt more motivated to travel. Let's GO!!

March 27, 2016, 3/4 Stars: It has the possibility to be a great map, but mine came in with a terrible crease along the left edge and had some flags/sections prescratched. Paper seemed thick and unruly when trying to straighten it out. Finally, the scratch film is very lightly applied, meaning that the slightest gesture might expose what's underneath. Have not tested it otherwise. Your mileage may vary.Update, March 30, 2016, 4/5 Stars: I'm changing my original score because of how quickly customer service was able to replace my map and address my issues. I was told that future iterations will have thinner paper for easier unrolling. If you're looking to purchase a scratch off map of just the United States, consider getting  this  one instead. It's cheaper, bigger, and better quality. Only caveat is that it has a very strong paint smell when first unrolled.
