IT HAS ARRIVED!Ok, I have finally received this item. More on that later.Years ago, my wife made a living cutting hair. She just didn't like it any long, we had kids and she gave away and sold all of her supplies. Fast forward to Covid 19, a couple kids and wanting to save some money, this kit has come into place.We haven't had a full round of hair cutting yet with this kit but when we do, it will be very good especially a couple of the "larger" items.The straight shears operate smoothly and the blades close nicely against each other. I myself have trimmed some stragglers off the kids heads and it is as the hairs didn't even exist because these shears cut through them so smoothly.The thinning shears are effective as well. The finish doesn't seem quite as nice as on the straight shears but a couple quick clips with them prove them to be effective and smooth.The rest of the kit is acceptable and usable. I would say the biggest part of this kit are the two aforementioned parts and they make the kit worthwhile.Now for the only Con. I ordered this and it came from China. I buy a lot of items directly from China and know that it is common to take a month or so. Now, I know that COVID-19 has impacted things so this may not be fair but, this item took a bit too long to arrive stateside. Understand, there will be very little and very vague tracking information available. This is totally normally. Like I said, I buy items from China, primarily Chainsaw parts and electronics. This is normal. With this kit, it was like it disappeared and one day just showed up at the door. It has happened to me before so I wasn't alarmed.Buy this kit for the long run future use. Don't buy it cause your in a hurry to get your haircut done. We will be using it on three Male heads and an Aussie Dog. Maybe my wife will even let me try it on her? ;)

When I ordered the set I had high hopes but tried to keep my expectations in check. With the pandemic, my wife has added hairdresser to her list of skill sets so I decided to get her the proper tools for the job.The kit exceeded our expectations in every way. Upon arrival all items are individually packaged, every item is well made. Both pairs of scissors are sharp and cut great, the cape is a nice material and as expected and the razor comb is an awesome tool to have too.

I am a DIY hair cutter. The reviews for this set were very good, but it is a piece of junk! The thinning shears grabbed my hair and stuck together; the scissors were equally bad. Just remember - you get what you pay for! I should have known better.

Due to Covid 19 I had to purchase this set and it gets the job done. The scissors are perfect for cutting hair and I like the fact that it come in a set.

Very nice hair cutting scissor there cut thru your hair like butter o have used them to cut a few people hairs and there gives a nice straight cut without hacking the hair all over it come with everything you need to cut someone hair highly recommend for anyone that cut hairs

Great price for this kit. I bought it primarily for the cape. The other items were just an added bonus.

This set was a great value for the money. You will not be unhappy with this set. Great buy.
