Works as advertised but increase the drops it states for 1 batch i had to double it to notice the difference in the burn!! 1st attempt: my mother in law was the guinea pig since she went first with her hair dye......we learned with her that it requires more drops than the box suggests, lol.....she was miserable while she waited for the hair color to process, had to keep a skinny hair pick on her the whole time because the burn and itch was too much-but luckily we also use the color accelerator(from this brand) which is a huge game changer, so she only had to keep the dye in for the half the time (20 mins instead of 40 to 45).... 2nd attempt: I doubled the amount of drops for my hair dye...and omg barely any itching...my head wasnt on fire/filled w bugs crawling--if u dye ur own hair using salon grade products, such as dye from sallys or a salon...opposed to a walgreen box dye kit... ull know what im talking about when i say the burn/itch.....this product is a must have if u dye ur own hair. I cant believe ive been without this for this longg!! The only alternative solution I could find to help relieve the itching and burning from the hair dye while you wait for the color to process was to buy these tiny liquid packet things that I could get from Sally's beauty supply and there about a $1.25 or a$1.50 a piece ,never on sale, and you need about 5 packets for your hair dye for each time u dye.... so cost wise, it adds up... this bottle is so much more cost effective because by the time I used it 4 times, ive spent what it cost to buy, and I still have plenty of drops left over for another handful of uses so it's actually saving me money. Would recommend!! Definitly buying again. This is now part of my hair dye supplies and materials. This brand is professional and legit af. So happy i took a chance pn this product (had like 0 reviews when i bought it so i wasnt sure why id be getting)

No more itchy, burning scalp after getting my hair colored. My stylist was adding sweet n low to my color to stop the burning on my scalp but it stopped working. This product felt cool while on my scalp and I didn't itch afterwards!

Sensitive scalp peeps! Please hear me out. I'm not one to review much, but as a dedicated Blondie I've had my fair share of severe chemical burn. I've even questioned my choice of being an eternal blonde and.enduring such pain. For what!? Vanity?? Well call it what you want. I loooove blonde hair. I do my hair myself and I'm glad this product was in my recommended list. On a whim I decided to give it a shot and let me tell you!! Pain and burn caused by bleach,dyes, and toners has decreased significantly! I've wasted so much product by applying lightener and almost immediately rinsing it out, Causing slow lifting. This product has become my holy Grail and I don't see my self retouching my hair without it. Overall I'm able to fully lift my roots in one application vs 3 to 4 times throughout the week. I now look forward to retouching. A standard bowl of bleach uses only 20 drops. I might do 25 just in case. Ive used the drops 4 times (about 100 drops) bottle is half full. If you're extremely sensitive to hair colors/bleach do yourself a favor and stock up on this. You wont dread retouching. No more Benadryl and no more pain!!

I would itch for days and weeks with my hair dyes. Several different ones. But the beautician put this in my dye and I am not itching anymore. I just wasn't ready to give up dying my hair. Now I don't have to.

Definitely Works! I put this in anything that goes on my easy- irritated scalp. I place a few drops in my hair color, gel, scalp oil, etc. I even introduced this product to my stylist.

I’ve been using this product for many years. I couldn’t colour my hair without it as my scalp is very sensitive. My hairdresser can’t get it from her supplier so I buy one for her as well. She uses it every time she colours my hair. I used to have to search all over online in Canada and U.S. because it’s not available in the city where I live. But it was costly and took awhile to get to me due to shipping. I am so grateful that it’s now on Amazon Prime. Please don’t discontinue this product Amazon. Thank you

Unfortunately, this product did not work for me. Used twice, once with a bleach bath, and then with hair color (Wella Colorcharm). Both times, did not prevent burning or decrease sensitivity.

Doesn't work, it just slows the bleaching process and yet Doesn't do what the name suggests.

The bottles are getting so much smaller! Not happy when I opened it. We'll try to double the amount of drops because it still burns and I get bumps/ sores.
