The reason for leaving the big gap is because the way its packed is in a roll. this will make the middle portion of the strip leave a bit more gap than the sides. So you need to make sure especially the middle part is touching the floor by atleast the length of where the 3-line gap begins. Its decreased outside noise level greatly.The soft thing on the other 3 sides of my door are D-shaped foam from "Stick&Seal". They work well and when split in the middle, should be the correct width for normal doors.With these 2 products you have an effectively sound proof door. and it will keep out cockroaches, and maintain the climate inside your room especially if you use the AC a lot.Kitty rated it 5/5 and hit me on the head with his gavel paws.

I've never thought of getting something like this and it's really good quality. Quite long for any door. You have to apply it very carefully because it'll never come off easily.

Good product to seal the gaps between floor and door. I found it useful specially during the monsoon when the gap caused uninvited visitors like flies, frogs, ants ! And a small snake one day !! So, I have used one at front and one at back of the main door to make sure nothing creeps inside our home through the door. I think it also blocks dust and dirt- so another benefit I guess. You can use quick fix adhesive to affix it, if the glue / gel that comes with it doesn’t work. Tip- ensure the seal is affixed proper way before applying the glue or you may damage your wooden door ( try pushing through it at the gap with a finger to check nothing can pass through it before applying the glue and sticking it)

I am sorry to again point out that, the sealing with the floor is not adequate. It is expected to lap, and prevent splashes of water but somehow it does not lap in a straight line. It is possible, that the packaging of the product results in a curvature and the sealing lip does not fall in a straight line. I have tried my best to fix, myself being an engineer from IIT, but there is an issue. I thank Amazon and the seller, to be sensitive to customer expectations and ask for feedback. Highly appreciate.

Pros :1. Goes well with brown or walnut color doors.2. Glue was good, I dint have problem with fixing it.3. Fixed my problem as mosquito stopped entering through the gap between door and floorCons:1. Too costly for it's length.2. Can only use this for 1 door

I got the translucent one for bathroom wooden door, after reading the mostly good reviews. Did everything as required, but the adhesive just did not stay even for a day.. And the bathroom was not used during that period hence no moisture or water affected performance.And now that I've taken off the sticker on adhesive tape (else how do you even use to know if it works or doesn't!) Can't even return/refund. Absolute waste of money.

The product was little curved towards one end as you can see in the photos but it didn't matter after sticking it to the door. My purpose was just to prevent dust from entering the house to some extent and looks like it will do the purpose. The rubbery material looks durable but will have to wait and watch. The adesive is very good. Found it difficult to pull out after I had messed up a little during stick the product. Works for 1 door.

Works as mentioned. Only complaint is that it's little short of length. They could have added a little longer so that it can be sufficient... Around 5cm less in length
