The hardener of our epoxy resin coating and epoxy resin has a very good UV resistance. However, we recommend the use of a UV blocker, especially for outdoor applications. This significantly increases the UV resistance. Add approx. 1% of this UV stabiliser adds to the total weight of epoxy resin and hardener to prevent discolouration caused by sunlight. You can mix the UV blocker in the resin or add it after mixing the mixture. The UV stabiliser does not affect the colour or transparency of the epoxy. Fazit: Hochwertiges Produkt, das hält, was es verspricht. Wer mit Epoxidharz arbeitet und Wert auf Langlebigkeit und Farbtreue legt, sollte den UV-Stabilisator auf jeden Fall mitbestellen!
