I like products from uni. Good quality and nice look. Unlike the other hub I used, the ports on this one are easy to connect to.The one thing I wish this one had is data usb-c port.

I was very very impressed with this hub. It is very small, so extremely portable, and has all the necessary ports when traveling and on the go. I used it at home, during this covid-19 pandemic. I used it with my MacBook Pro, and had the power going into the hub, and then connecting the hub to one of my USB-C ports (it worked flawlessly with either USB-C ports on my MacBook Pro). I then connected my HD monitor (not 4K) via the HDMI port, and the picture was perfect. I also had a wired Apple keyboard, connected to the USB port on the hub, as well as a lightning connector (for my Apple touchpad) to the USB port (for charging the Apple touchpad). I added a USB flash drive to the hub as well, and everything worked without any issues. To top it off, I put in a mini SD card, as well as a standard SD card to the hub, to utilize all 7 ports, and everything worked without any problems. I used this full setup for about a week, and had no issues. My only concern, and this is because of my setup with the MacBook Pro on a stand, the connecting wire from the hub to the computer was just too short, and hung awkwardly (see picture), and also made it very very difficult to reach the SD card slots. Again this was an issue for me based upon my setup. But if I used it differently without the stand, this setup should be perfect for most folks.

I recently ordered an ultrawide monitor for my WFH setup. I use a Macbook pro and have been using it with the Inkling 9 in 1 USB C adapter. The Inkling adapter has worked great, because I was using it previously with an old VGA monitor, and it had ports for both VGA and HDMI. When I plugged that hub in though, the Mac recognized the monitor ok, but it did not present the ultrawide resolution as an option. Interestingly, it worked just fine with my chrome book and a Raspberry PI running Linux, but not the Mac. I had a UNI USB C to HDMI adapter, so I tried that, and with that adapter, the Mac worked with the Ultrawide just fine. I need a USB A port for my external keyboard. Not wanting to run both the adapter and the hub, I looked to see if UNI had a hub with some USB A ports. I quickly found this hub. Since it had everything I needed, I bought it. It arrived the next day, I plugged it in and it seems to work just fine. Seems to be of good build quality as well, just like the other UNI USB C to HDMI adapter I had is.

I use an Apple BlueTooth mouse where interference from USB 3 gear will render the mouse unusable. Shielded cables, hubs, hard drives, etc is an absolute must.This hub specifically states it is shielded. In fact I believe this to be the case but the shielded is only so good. In short while the mouse is 80-90% usable with the hub plugged into my Apple computer, in the end the 10-20% interference ultimately becomes annoying.While not necessarily a problem with the hub, plugging devices into the hub can cause the device to become an antenna to propagate noise. The SD card slot on the hub is very shallow allowing most of the SD card to stick outside of the hub. When the card is plugged into the hub it acts as an antenna where the mouse became unusable with the SD card plugged in. The same can be said for a plastic encased USB memory key.On the other hand if one is using this hub without a BlueTooth device nearby, then it's a great solution. Typically WiFi is higher power thus interference is less of an issue.

The media could not be loaded.  Very happy with this little gadget. It allows me to use three of my existing usb-a type devices at once, plus a sd card reader. I do a lot of digital photography work using my macbook and I used to have to swap out cables and adapters depending on what I was trying to accomplish, now it's simple: just plug in this port and I have room for everything simultaneously -- even including charging my phone or smart watch. It eliminates a huge amount of the tedium that I'd just grown accustomed to. Also, it really cuts down on the number of adapters I need to schlep around while traveling. The product seems like it's made from high quality materials, and I expect to last for a long time.

I needed a multi-port hub to carry all my work duties with me (transfer data to/from my phone, display PowerPoint shows from my phone to a TV via HDMI, etc). This does the trick. It's slim and compact, and has all the ports I need. The piano black finish, while elegant, shows all of my grubby fingerprints. Handy to take with me on the road!

I have used this hub on a Macbook Pro 13" from 2017 on Big Sur and everything works as expected! I have plugged in my monitor and my charger into the hub and have tested 3 USB 3.0 drives at the same time. Everything shows up and file transfer speeds look good. The hub is also sleek and pleasing to look at and runs fairly cool to the touch! I have not had a chance to test the SD/MicroSD port, but I would highly recommend this hub for a power user and looking for something quick and easy to work with!

Due to the pandemic, I've been working from home and needed a hub to connect to my work computer. This hub has not disappointed! I can plug in an external keyboard, monitor, memory cards and usb drives to it easily and use the hdmi output to connect to a second (or even third) monitor. The quality is excellent, and my only complaint (being very picky) is that it is a fingerprint magnet. Aside from that, I love the versatility, since I can also use it with my personal devices like iPad or my phone. And one of the main benefits, is that it can charge my devices as well when plugin in the power cable to the usb-c port in this hub! Definitely recommend it!

Der Hub ist ohne zu viel Plastik verpackt. Er fühlt sich gut und hochwertig an. Das Kabel ist etwas steif und für die Nutzung am IPad etwas kurz. Der Hub baumelt ein wenig in der Luft. Soweit funktioniert alle Anschlüsse. Ich war eigentlich schon überzeugt, bis ich das Ladegerät angesteckt habe.Laut Beschreibung soll dieser Hub kompatibel mit dem IPad Pro sein aber wenn man das originale Netzteil (18W) nicht nutzen kann, ist das nicht kompatibel, in meinen Augen. Es zeigt nur „lädt nicht“ an. Da war ich echt enttäuscht. Hatte mir so gut gefallen, dieser Hub. Habe mir dann aber, aus Neugier, das Aukey PA-D3 (60W) bestellt. Siehe da! Mit dem funktioniert auch die Ladefunktion.Habe den Hub aber trotzdem zurück geschickt. Schon aus Protest. Sehe nicht ein, extra ein anderes Netzteil kaufen zu müssen, um eine Kompatibilität herstellen zu können. Bei einem anderen Hub von Uni (EU6IN101) funktioniert komischerweise, das Laden, auch mit dem original 18W Netzteil von Apple.

Um ein neues MacBook mit externen Geräten in vollem Umfang nutzen zu können, benötigt man aktuell einfache eine USB-C Hub. Es gibt extrem viel Auswahl bei Preis, Materialien und Leistungsumfang. Diese Hub steht vergleichbaren Produkten von Apple oder Satechi in nichts nach und punktet bei mir durch das gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.Das Gehäuse ist aus Plastik gefertigt und wirkt durch die glänzende Oberfläche an Front- und Rückseite sehr hochwertig. Die Anschlüsse sind sauber gearbeitet und funktionieren einwandfrei. Ich habe weder die Geschwindigkeit oder irgendwelche Übertragungsraten gemessen, aber externe Geräte wie Festplatten, Tastaturen und ein Monitor über HDMI laufen ohne Probleme.Der größte Pluspunkt ist das USB-C Kabel von Hub zum Endgerät. Bei anderen Hubs ist der Stecker aus Aluminium gefertigt, was hochwertig aussieht, aber auch das Gerät verkratzen kann, wenn man unvorsichtig ist. Hier ist er aus solidem Plastik, was trotzdem schick aussieht, aber man sich keine Gedanken um Kratzer machen muss.Wer also eine hochwertige und schicke USB-C Hub sucht, an der man vernünftig mehrere Geräte anschließen kann und die auch noch ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis besitzt, ist mit diesem Produkt sehr gut beraten.

Das Produkt tut was es soll und ist eine passende Erweiterung für das mobile Arbeiten.Ob Laden oder bildschirmübertragung via HDMI läuft alles gut von der Hand.Die Verarbeitung ist okay, leider aber auch nicht mehr.Mein Hub wurde leider mit einem Wackelkontakt geliefert und auf Anfragen bekam ich mehrfach keine Antwort.Durch diesen Schlechten Support muss ich leider 2 Sterne von den 4 Sternen die ich gegeben hätte abziehen.Sehr schade dass der Endkonsument dem Hersteller so egal scheint.

Die Lieferung erfolgte gewohnt schnell von Amazon.Ursprünglich war ich auf der Suche nach einem Adapter bzw. Hub welcher mein iPad Pro 11 Zoll um Anschlüsse erweitern konnte.Schlussendlich wurde ich bei uni fündig. Der Hub wird in einem kleinen Pappkarton geliefert, in dem der Adapter mit kleinen Pappe-Clips befestigt ist.Schnell ausgepackt und mit wenig Müll verbunden ist der Hub auch direkt einsatzbereit.Von den Bildern her dachte ich zunächst, dass er aus Hochglanzplastik hergestellt wurde, allerdings trügt hier der Anschein, denn er ist aus Glas und Aluminium, so dass er insgesamt sehr hochwertig wirkt. Kleiner Nachteil ist jedoch, dass er Fingerabdrücke auf dem Glas magisch anzieht. Ansonsten knarzt oder wackelt nichts und es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Uni selbst wirbt mit „Enhanced Shielding“ - Dies kann ich leider nicht beurteilen.Sobald der Adapter mit einem USB C Gerät verwendet wird, leuchtet der kleine runde Kreis auf und ist direkt einsatzbereit.Insgesamt sind 7 Anschlüsse vorhanden:- 3x USB A 3.0- SD Card Reader- Micro SD Card Reader- HDMI mit 4K@30Hz- USB Typ C mit LadefunktionAlle Anschlüsse funktionieren tadellos gleichzeitig. Allerdings wird am iPad nur ein Datenträger gleichzeitig erkannt. An meinem Desktop PC und meinem Galaxy S9 wird jedoch alles gleichzeitig erkannt und es können beispielsweise auch Daten von einem Medium zum andern übertragen werden.Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Adapter sehr zufrieden und würde ihn mir jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Aus meiner Sicht ein gutes USB-C-Hub. Ich habe hier nichts gemessen oder so, aber verglichen mit meinem vorherigen Aukey USB-C-Hub geht der Datentransfer per USB und auf SD Karte um Welten schneller.HDMI funktioniert auch einwandfrei und besser als bei genanntem Konkurrenzprodukt.Qualität ist halt Plastik. Aber wackeln tut nix, also gut. Ich finde es sogar angenehmer als Alu, das hat an meinem Alu Laptop immer nur gekratzt und fiese Geräusche gemacht.Warum nur 4 Sterne? Für den 5. hätte es einen LAN Port gebracht. Wer keinen LAN Port will, der kann hier auch 5 Sterne rauslesen.Kaufempfehlung? Ja.
