I have a very old acrylic shower that is difficult to clean if I let it go for too long. The soap scum builds up rapidly. I've used dishwashing detergent and a microfiber cloth and that works reasonably well, but it has been increasingly difficult to clean lately, so I thought I'd give this a try. First of all, it has a very strong smell. I would not use this without some ventilation (shower door open and bathroom fan running). The smell does dissipate after rinsing. Does it clean acrylic well? Yes! The top part of the shower was really easy to clean, but the bottom part where most of the soap scum accumulates, took quite a while to get clean. I had to scrub (with the microfiber cloth) quite a while and with quite a bit of effort (no simple spray and wipe). Was it worth it? Yes! My shower now looks practically brand new. It's important not to use cleaners that could damage the acrylic surface (and there are many out there that I would not trust to use on my shower) hence I thought to give this Kohler cleaner a try as they manufacture bathroom tubs and showers. It is a powerful cleaner, so I most likely will return to using the gentler option of the dishwashing detergent a few times in between these more vigorous cleanings; but yes, I do recommend this product for acrylic surfaces.

30+ year old one piece acrylic (I think) tub in basement. Originally almond colored but thru years dingy greige. Tried on tub and so much brighter. Probably could use another hit of cleaning. No damage, soap scum seemed to be removed and overall I’m glad I bought

Cleans but you need a gas mask on the smell is so strong.

I like using the product. I don't like the smell. Lets me know I am using a harmful product. I only use it in the day. It doesn't smell bad but I prefer to use it when I can open a window. Works well. I use it on my porcelain bath tube.

Best product to buy for your shower. It works so well it only works on kolhler products no tile

I was out of my usual lime away, which is usually the only product that can clean my tubs. I wanted to try something else that doesn’t have that awful strong chemical smell. So I decided to order this here mainly because I tried the Kohler gel stainless steel cleaner in the past and it’s now my favorite cleaning products. Well, this didn’t disappoint. I sprayed it on and left it for about an hour and the soap scum melted away it didn’t get it all the first time but no product does on my tubs. Twice did the trick. I also love the nice light, fresh, spa like fragrance or leaves.Kohler is a awesome brand. Just try it.
