Great book worth the buy

The instructions were excellent and there are a great many very easy puzzles. Almost too many because once I got the hang of it there wasn't much of a challenge.

I have never played this before and was a little worried that I could learn it and enjoy it. I am hooked. The directions were easy to understand and I love that there is only one puzzle per page. I wish the pages were spiral bound. Very fun purchase.

Highly recommended. I've been trying to do the Sudoku in the newspaper (quarantine hobby) - I understood the idea, but was never able to complete one. I got this book and within a couple of tries I was knocking off one completed Sudoku after another. So rewarding!The book itself lies nice and flat. The paper is nice quality - no bleed-through. There are two puzzles to a page, meaning the print is readable and there's space to make notes (it's not being sold as a "Large Print" book, but the print is pretty large).The book starts with a few pages of basic instructions, clearly written, which was all I needed to finally solve Sudokus. The basic technique is to go three rows at a time, then three columns at a time, then go over it again. I'd compare it to "dead-ending" when solving a maze - a little labor-intensive, but it'll get you there. Once I get more proficient, I plan to combine this technique with just eyeballing it. I'd like even more tips - perhaps in a future book? Answers are in the back.

My husband has dementia and this really helps him with his thinking. We work on them regularly and he enjoys doing them. They are challenging for him but teach him solving skills.

I am on my 4th book now. I keep ordering it over and over.They stimulate your brain.Order it!!

Its a good book for beginners and you really start to understand it but I wish it had medium level also..
