UniquExceptional UDC8-black, Indoor Dummy, Fake Dome Security Cameras with 30 Illuminating Nightime LEDs

It is what I expected, but was disappointed that the battery life is so short. My first set of batteries only lasted 2 weeks, and it is a pain to get out the ladder and climb up to change the batteries that often.

The problem is that if you mount it on the ceiling the camera lens cannot be tilted to an angle that would allow for a picture of anything but the top of a persons head or the surface below the camera. Of course this is a fake camera but you still need the lens pointing at your subject to achieve the desired effect. The LEDs are photocell controlled and turn on at night and off during the day and work well.

This thing is great. I have a walkout basement and put this camera in the rafters under the deck. Then I ran a wire that I tucked into the siding going to the camera to make it look even more real. The infrared LEDs have a nice soft glow. Uses 2 AA batteries. Looks real and think it'll do a good job deterring problems.

This works pretty well but it looks like a few leds are out already, just a few weeks after install.

I think the product is so cheap I should have looked at the dollar store first. Don't use the batteries the wiring is so cheap we felt like it would be hazardous. From a far it doesn't look cheap but any professional would know.

It`s ok. The leds don't look like in the picture (they are not red).

I defy you to tell the difference between this or a real one! Looks identical to the real one. Do not waste your time putting in a battery the real ones do not have a flashing light on them. I have two REAL cameras and they don't do that.

Should be used indoor only, not waterproof. In addition thin wires are very short and very likely will break or pull loose when attempting to change batteries.
