Simple Remedies made me feel proud of myself, again!
Wow! I have been a DoorDasher and a Grubhub eater for the past year. I was so happy to find this book! I’ve been to Albertsons, Ralph’s, Jon's market, and Trader Joe’s and I have been able to find every single item that I needed for each recipe. I now enjoy the whole process of going to the store, cooking a meal, being satisfied and excited by my meal, and even cleaning up. Why?! I feel so much better! I have a different kind of energy! I’m going through 2~3..32 ounce bags of broccoli a week. The broccoli soup is so scrumptious. And last night, I made Joy Bauer’s MacNcheese ( can be found online)!I’m keeping this book forever because it definitely SPARKS JOY!

Wow! I really LOVE this book! Recently I’ve been trying to eat more healthy and get back in shape, when I found this book I thought I’d be great. It turned out to be truly amazing! It’s very well written and she cites many studies and sources. I have also made many of the recipes and they are easy to follow and very tasty, even my husband likes them! I really like how so many of the recipes use a lot of the same herbs and similar ingredients so I’m not buying an item that I’ll only use a little of and go to waste. All of the ingredients are very budget friendly and easy to find at any grocery. This book is resells life altering, I can’t wait to order more of her books!

Great recipes & easy to follow.
Love this cookbook! Been watching Joy Bauer as she appears in various news programs off and on for years. Saw her make/talk about some of the recipes on the Today Show in the fall of 2018. Just made the Pumpkin Turkey Chili last night one of the most nutritious, and best tasting chili recipes that I have. Also wonderful, Curry Turkey Burgers w/ Pomegranate Seeds, Energizing Waldorf Salad/Wrap, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Hiney-Tumeric Chicken with Roasted Asparagus, Banana Almond Bread & many more. I still have more to try but overall I am impressed by this cookbook. Thanks Joy!

Joy Bauer hit a homerun with her new book- Joy's Simple Food Remedies. As a fellow dietitian, I hear about these common ailments all.the.time.! Joy has provided food recommendations to reduce or relieve the symptoms of these ailments making it easy for consumers to know exactly what to eat to help them feel better! The best part about this book is that Joy is a trusted nutrition professional and all of her recommendations are based on nutrition science. Joy- thank you for writing a book that will help so many people use foods to improve their health!
