We needed something for couch covers that were pleasant to look at, could handle the dogs, that would clean up easily in the wash and not fall apart. These are really nice comforters for the money. They appear to be solidly made and they are nice to look at (we bought 2). They are light weight, but heavy enough to last. They are smooth to the touch and i feel like they will get softer with wear. They're a little stiff right out of the bag, but that's to be expected. Although we bought them as an investment for furniture covers that will stay put, I wouldn't hesitate to use them in a bedroom. They're really nice bedding.

I have an Eddie Bauer quilt from the early 90s that’s still awesome. I figured why not try the brand again? It’s well made, not too heavy, and not too light. It should work well all season. Add an extra blanket in the winter. Looks pretty, too!

Lovely quilt, perfect for boy, girl, male or female. Purchased with set of flannel sheets for Children's home bed and they were very grateful and can use it for any age children.

I got this quilt because it was literally the only one I could find with the colors I needed and I was very pleased with the depth of colors when it arrived. Sage green and paprika red are the colors I use throughout my home and the combination is really hard to find these days.It is very "country" looking and if I had a choice I might have chosen another quilt pattern but it looks nice on the bed and with the artwork I have in that bedroom. I searched over 18 on line stores before making my decision.As others have pointed out, the fabric is about as thin as fabric can get and still be useable at all, and the cotton inner layer is so thin it is almost not there either. However, for some reason, it is quite comfortable and as warm as other, thicker, quilts I've had in the past. You can always add a blanket for winter is you need to! Some people complained that the fabric is stiff but I did not find that to be the case at all. Yes, it is a printed pattern, not actual patches, but from across the room it doesn't look different from an actual patchwork quilt.As far as size: It is the size as advertised. I ordered a king size quilt for our queen size bed because the bed sits high, with a thick mattress on top of a "box" spring and a queen quit does not even cover the box spring part. This is plenty wide, covering most of the pretty cherry wood side boards but that is better than half of the box spring showing.What I really like is the thin stripe pattern in some of the "patches" that is the solid backing on this quilt. I'm really fond of anything that is even close to ticking stripes and I might turn the quilt upside down and use the striped side up from time to time.This is a mass produced item and is sold by every mass market store that I could see (Walmart, Penny's Kohl's etc.). The price varies as much as $30 from one store to another. I got mine from Amazon because I had some reward points which reduced the out of pocket cost closer to what I feel the quilt is really worth in terms of price.

Got this for my king bed, it is beautiful and the sizing it great. (several others I've ordered had really short sides) It's medium weight so not too warm for spring/summer.

I was looking for a plaid option for a rustic room and this worked out great! Paired it with some grey throw pillows and the Eddie Bauer Dog Pillow.
