Best in the business
Extortionately expensive, but quite simply the best in the business. Light, thin, reasonably sturdy and fantastically responsive. The trackpad works smoothly and well. Very useful to have an alternative built in charging point (if you visualise it as a ‘book’ shape, then the ‘spine’ of the ‘book’, on opposite to the iPad’s charging port) so you can charge while using the other port for e.g. a card reader.Tiny point - depending on your normal hand position while typing, you might find the backs of your fingers hit the underside of the iPad when using the upper row / numerical keys).Rival products just don’t quite do it. Most have them have dreadful trackpads and are too bulky, heavy, or (alternatively) flimsy. The Brydge equivalent (the Pro+) has iOS control keys for brightness, sound etc that this keyboard lacks. But it’s aluminium, available in space grey only, weighs more than the iPad itself and also more than doubles its thickness, turning the combo into a brick / roof tile that weighs just over a kilo...!My wallet still feels sore and tender, but I have to say that this is a truly superb bit of kit. If you feel you can afford it / justify the expense, then you will love it.

This is by far the best keyboard case for iPad Pro.
So far I’m loving it. The keyboard is great for typing on, it feels smooth and responsive with no issues. I’ve put 5 stars for the battery life because as you can imagine I’ve been using it non stop since I’ve I had it and 3 hours later my iPad battery is 90%. Plus, I bought a USB C dongle to transfer data and so that might have drained the battery but didn’t. The trackpad is great. Once you learn how to use the gestures everything is simple and there is no reason to touch the screen. Opening the case does require 2 hands but most people have 2 so unless you only have 1 then stop moaning. The backlit keys work well and there must be a sensor because its never too bright and goes off when a film is being watched. The magnetic back is strong but the iPad can be removed easily if you need to and attaches really well. Lastly, the hinge!!! I thought the lack of tilt would be an issue but it really isn’t and it has a power through port to charge the iPad while you use it. This is by far the best and only keyboard case you will need. I did consider the Brydge Pro+ for £200 but believe me you’d happily pay the extra £100 for this case. The only issue I’ve heard from other reviewers is the lack of shortcut keys but its easier to control the volume etc on the iPad itself than pressing multiple buttons.

Apple Magic Keyboard.
One of the best Apple products I have bought.Using it on new IPad Air.It looks great m, non slip when handling. It’s adjustable and opens and closes smoothly. The keyboard and trackpad are lovely and smooth to operate. The buttons respond intuitively to the touch. It has a port to connect another item, I charge pencil and Apple products conveniently.I use it everyday, I had iPad keyboards before but nothing as good as this before. It’s an expensive item but I think it’s worth it.

Great quality, but you certainly pay for it
I treated myself to this when embracing the “replace a laptop” movement. It works great, looks great, feels great, battery lasts well (turn down the brightness in iPad general settings when you don’t need it), and I make very good and regular use of it. The iPad in my case has now replaced home laptop (granted, I’m not a heavy user). Job done and I’m very pleased. Apple make quality products.But... Every time I look at it, I remember exactly how much it costs. However good it is, it is definitely overpriced. It’s something of a luxury, no doubt about it. I can understand someone looking at the price and therefore not getting it, but I can equally understand someone trying one first and thinking it completes their iPad experience (if you use for work, blogging etc).Switching between my work laptop and the iPad (in my case the 11”) there is an adjustment going from keyboard to keyboard - it’s nothing major but at first you will likely think it’s cramped. Quality of it makes up for that so persevere.

Almost perfect
If you can get away from the price (it's no secret that this is an overpriced and very expensive keyboard) then what you have here is fantastic little keyboard that works incredibly well.Pros- Keyboard; a fantastic typing experience, easily beats my desktop and my aging Macbook Pro. Good back lighting.- Trackpad; was initially concerned by the size but works perfectly. 1,2,3 finger gestures are very intuitive and make doc editing and using as a work machine so much more efficient.- Size; was also concerned if an 11 inch keyboard would work, however it's designed to maximise the space and works incredibly well (albeit at the expense of the function key row which I personally don't miss)- Build; Very cool design and quality build.Cons- Material; The outer case is polyurethane, easily marks and not sure about it's longevity, certainly in terms of looks, think Apple could have done better here.- Weight; personally don't mind, but some might, practically doubles the weight of the iPad.- PriceIn summary, I agree with many that this is a game changer, if like me you want to try and use the iPad Pro as a laptop replacement - then look no further.
