Comer CM LBPS1800 1800lux LED Battery Video Light for HD Camcorder

After looking at several considerably less expensive "knock off" versions of this light, I decided to pay more and get the real deal. I read several good reviews. Now that I've used it I can attest that it is a quality product. It can do both daylight and warm color temperature and the build quality is nice. It also comes with a handy bag. I am going to buy a second one since we shoot with multiple cameras. It's very handy for shooting dark weddings and receptions that have no light other than flashing DJ lights. They really make a difference in the end video quality.

I liked it at first, but the connections are poor and the light stopped working after about a year. Now I've got an expensive paperweight.

I have used it once for recent Miami marathon, which started before dawn on overcast day. Results were excellent, using the spotlight lens.

The video light is great it helps when you need a lot of light or just a little. I will buy it again if need it and recommend it to all my colleagues.

Works great for up close interviews. Probably not what you want for any farther away than 5 or 6 feet in poor lighting conditions.

I used on my Canon XH A1 and it works perfect, although i recommend to buy a bracket to hold it and do not use the intelligent flash shoe.

Pros: decently bright, barn doors are the best on the market. Cons: For the price, the battery shouldn't be intermittent and falling off. Also, the light flashes like a distress beacon when the batteries get low. Boooo
