Q: On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the mlg-ness of the clicky cherry MX-blues?

Well, it depends on your dank meme factor.If you have at least 15 bags of Doritos, 3 airhorns, and 2 blunts around, a whopping 10.But seriously, Cherry MX blues are the tactile-clicky version of Cherry's switches that will reach a point in which more force is needed to press the switch, and after you press this, the switch will make this sorta clicking sound (perfectly healthy).These switches are amazingly fun to type on to me, and also fun to game on. Alternatively, You're looking at cherry reds, browns or silents.Cherry reds are linear and non-clicky, so they just hit the bottom of the switch without the tactile bump, and thus are typically used for gaming. In my opinion, these switches are rather dull to type on.Cherry silents are essentially reds, but inheritley more quiet.Cherry brown switches are tactile but non-clicky, and you're looking at a slightly lighter amount of force to press it down.This answer really doesn't do justice to how each switch feels, but if you go out and get yourself a little switch tester board (Max keyboard, WASD keyboards, and the mechanical keyboards website sellls them)These won't have silent switches due to corsair's exclusive deal with cherry, but they are literally quieter reds.Frankly, I personally like blues the best

Yes you can. You can use the software and change the default binding of the key very easily.

When I ordered this I got the MX blue switches, so I think it's safe to say that the description is inaccurate.

Q: When Corsair released the K70 rgb with mx blues, they discontinued it due to switch inconsistency. Is this still an issue with the strafe keyboard?

So far the keyboard is perfect. Apparently Corsair fixed all their issues with RGB MX Blue switches and I'd guess they made sure to not risk another discontinuation.
