Applying this protector was refreshingly simple. The backing has grid lines that made cutting to size precise, and the adhesive stuck well to my tile backsplash without bubbling. I recommend using a spatula or credit card to smooth it out as you go—makes a big difference. The transparent finish blends seamlessly with my kitchen decor—no visual clutter. I also used leftover pieces on the inside of my cupboard doors and under the sink. It’s subtle, functional, and renter-friendly.

We put this on the backsplash behind our stove because the tile was constantly getting discolored from the steam from the over, stove, and food items. It would clean off but I didn’t want to take a chance destroying the tile. This stuff worked so well. It stuck and has not moved. I have wiped it down over and over again and it still looks perfect. You can’t even tell it’s there. I have asked my family when they come to visit and they had no idea it was there. I love this stuff. I also ended up using it on the side trays of all of my husbands bbq’s so they are easier to wipe down. Not they are slick and clean way better. I have started putting this stuff everywhere!

I put these on the wall of my kitchen to protect the greases being stuck on the wall. It works well.

Totally Disappointed! Arrived next day which was good, however, was not as expected. Basically this is a giant piece of tape NOT Film Paper. Once it is placed it will not come off. I did not use it on a backsplash, plastic or tile so I don't know how it will work on that but I do know NOT to use it on cabinets - it is permanent and will pull off the paint when removing. If you plan on getting it, be very careful when installing because if you don't take your time you will get air bubbles. I am an artist and know how to work with this kind of product so I was able to aviod air bubbles but if you have never done something like this, take your time when lining it up and go slow. Maybe even watch a youtube clip on how to avoid air bubbles when placing tape. Also this is very glossy and will have a shine to it. This was ok for me because I placed it behind my trash can for easy clean up. I had in mind to use it for several projects but now second guessing ithat. I usually don't leave 3 start reviews but because I want you to know what you are getting I thought it best to leave a review. Most keep in mind that this is TAPE not a Film Paper.

We bought this for our kitchen backsplash by the stove. Easy to install it on, easy to peel off, and easy to clean. Looks nice and not too shiny. Protects your wall very well. It has a nice smooth texture also.

Do not waste your money. This stuff is terrible. For starters, the grid is not what you see in the picture, there are sections where it's a very large square.If your measurement happens to be in the middle of that square, you won't have a line to cut along. Obviously that'll make your cuts uneven.There aren't even any little squares at the edge at all, there are only medium and large squares. But even if you could get an even cut, it's still going to look terrible. This is basically a large piece of clear tape. It would think it would be a bit thicker, would hold better, and would be easy to apply without air bubbles, but it's thin, doesn't stick well, and there are a ton of air bubbles. It looks terrible on your wall (I was going to use it behind my range, but nope)

My loving this backsplash wallpaper protector! It’s clear so you don’t even know it’s there until you find out you’re glad it is. Easy to install on my white backsplash tile and last an extended period of time. Super nice buy!

If cutting uneven surface to fit around cupboards, be forewarned: as you remove flimsy backing that rips NOT how you want it to, you start fighting the roll while installing to avoid bubbles, and plastic film rips. Included is pict of patchwork area (zoomed-in). You know that clothing fibre is going to stay there!! Suggestion: roll up your sleeves and don’t install solo! Sticks well though.
