My large boa loves it!
I don't know what it is about this thing, but my red tail loves it. We recently upgraded his terrarium and I was in the market for something that he could use to climb on and make use of the height of the enclosure, as he is an arboreal snake, but he's very heavy so it was difficult. I had serious doubts about whether it would even be large enough for him to sit on it, or if the suction cups would be able to hold his weight, but thankfully, it did. I had bought a ZooMed reptihammock at the same time, and this product outperforms the zoomed one by all accounts. I have to re-place the zm hammock almost every single time i mist his terrarium because it falls as soon as it gets wet, while the penn plax one stays strong. There is only one of four of the penn plax suction cups that comes loose, and the other three will continue to hold his weight so it's not even like i have to constantly restick it. Plus, this product came with 2 extra cups, so mega bonus. Having 6 cups also means you can position it in more ways, especially in any terrarium smaller than mine. As for the lounger itself, he loves it. I don't understand what's so special about it, but he seriously spends most of his time either sleeping or crawling all over it. He hardly even touches the zoomed hammock. I even switched the two hammocks at one point to see if it was just 1 side of the enclosure he preferred, but he still prefered the penn plax hammock. So I am sold. This is a really great quality product that has won me and my boy over entirely. I know it wasn't even intended for snakes but it is exactly the kind of product I was looking for. I will absolutely be buying more and I highly recommend it for any arboreal/semi-arboreal animals.

Great lounger for picky beardies
I have a really picky bearded dragon. When his terrarium isn't furnished to his liking, he throws the most passive aggressive tantrum I have ever seen. Too many rocks, not enough rocks, branches in the wrong direction; it gets exhausting trying to find something he likes. NOT ANYMORE! This lounger is perfect. It's his favorite thing. The lounger comes with 6 suction cups and leather straps to secure it to the terrarium interior. It is really simple to set up and feels sturdy. Some terrarium furniture loses suction when your lizard is hanging out for too long, but I haven't had that problem with this one. It looks great, it smells great, and the XL is the perfect size for my 4' X 2' terrarium. I'm happy with the purchase. My beardie is happy too.

ball python likes it
Bought this for my ball python after his old one was no longer usable. He likes to spread out on it and bask under his heat lamp. I was hoping it would be able to fit lengthwise across his 40gal breeder, but it does not. its a very awkward size for his tank. its also not quite wide enough for him to curl up on it like he did with his old corner hammock. I wont be taking it out of his tank, but I'll likely be buying him another corner hammock anyway. the shape of the bridge is definitely ideal for larger lizards or thinner bodied snakes. luckily i had bought it on sale for 16 dollars, which was worth the price. quality is great as always, which is why I'm giving it 5 stars.

Dragon approved
I wanted to try something different for our Chloe we recently adopted. we got her a dirt box but it took up a lot of room so I had to diy a few things! this hammock is awesome! she can bask and be a queen above and sunbathe and sleep and hide underneath. it was a little short for our 40 gal tank but with the universal strings it came with, it helped me tie one edge to the other hammock and double the string for the other side to reach. but so far she’s loving it. she’s queen bee and very stubborn when it comes to her tank lol. so I got this hammock so she will be able to have more room to Move around since I got the dirt box. give her a daytime area and a night time, Play area. I definitely recommend, but it’s not big enough for 40 gallon tanks. Unless you did what I did. I had no issues with the suction cups, you just need a little spit and hold it down for a minute and it should stick lol. 4 stars because of the size, but we live and learn. the dirt box is a dish washing bucket I got from Walmart for $1. I’m using coconut Fiber Substrate, they sell the already made mixed kind at petsmart for $18. And the cement blocks in the corner for her hide I got from home depot, $6 for $3. The flooring is reptile vinyl, very easy to clean, I recommend to get a small dust pan and wipe it down with Lysol wipes, super easy. in case anyone was wondering!

Lounging lizard on his lizard lounger
Long story short, due to a recent sudden move, I had to (temporarily) put my bearded dragon, Rothstein, into a smaller habitat. I was looking for ways to maximize his space when I came across this. Initially, Rothstein was not very happy with it. It's day three now, though, and he loves it! He's about 15 inches from nose to tail tip, and with this being over two feet long, he's able to fit his entire stretched out body on it comfortably (he has a weird thing about his feet not freely hanging). The material is thick and sturdy, I don't have to worry about Rothsteins claws tearing it up or it sagging and detaching under his weight. It comes with six large suction cups and leathery strings. I haven't had any problems with the suction cups staying in place with this product, which is a problem I've had with other products. When I pulled it out of the package I had been disappointed because I couldn't get the crease in the center where it had been folded in half to smooth out. I ended up giving up on smoothing the crease and hung it up. It turned out the crease was not a bad thing after all because it give the lounger a nice upward slope on each side so Rothstein can get right under his basking light and he uses the crease to easily hop on and off the lounger. I will try to get a nice picture of him lounging so I can upload it. I would recommend this product for anyone who has a lizard that enjoys basking or climbing, money well spent. BTW - I suggest order it from here since the prices I saw for this product in pet stores were not a good deal.

Very easy to assemble & perfect lounge piece for your aquarium friend!
I cannot tell you how excited I was to get this for our new pet Iguana (Ziggy)! I was even more excited to see that he is enhoying it so much! He absolutely loves his hammock. When Ziggy isn't having a snack, taking a bath, doing yoga escape preparations-he can definitely be found sleeping or sunning under the heat lamp on his hammock. It is his favorite spot in the aquarium & I'm certain that he wishes he never had to get down. 10/10 recommend this for any dry aquarium pet. It's easy to assemble, durable & enjoyable by said pet.

Monitor Approved
This is a surprisingly sturdy hammock for the price particularly since it relies on suction cups. I got this for a Savannah Monitor (about half grown) and not only does he love it its held up great. Only one of the three cups popped off and that's likely from the way he claws at them when he's active, so really that's a testament to how good the suction cups are that only one fell off after a month. The size I bought turned out to be too long for the area I put it but it folds nicely in half and since the cups tie on with leather straps its easy to mount when folded. I couldn't give a rating on cleaning since I haven't had to since he has an established latrine corner and hasn't made a mess on the hammock. When I make a custom cage for him down the line I will be buying a second one to tie together with this one so he has enough space to stretch out when he is fully grown. The suction os also strong enough to hold up to constant use (both laying and climbing on) by a 3ish pound lizard. I was leary at first but I definitely recommend this product.

Large, attractive, quality, and loved by my snake!
Very impressed with this. It's quite large, comes with more suction cups than I know what to do with, and looks great. My young ball python immediately began spending time on this. The only downside is that it can't be cleaned/sanitized like a those green synthetic material hammocks. I like the natural look, and the slight roughness is good for helping Monty shed. It covers a little over half the length of my 65 gallon tank and the snake in the pics is almost 2 feet. I think this will still be ok when he grows a bit.
