Nice clean cut of cap tubes. For years I used a utility knife to scribe the cap tube and snap in half. Some use a file. This is so much better.

These work well on stainless tubing. 1/8" and 1/16th inch. they leave a good clean cut letting the ferrules slide easily onto the tubing. FYI these will eventually break on you of you cut lots of thick walled 1/8" tubing. I bought 4 this time. the previous pair lasted 4-5 years using them a few times a month.

It's amazing how cleanly this cuts Capillary tube without closing it off.

Good product

I was a little disappointed when I received these. I have wire cutters/strippers that look almost identical, and these aren't much different than those. They are a little heavier, and a little nicer, but since they weren't that much different, I tried using my similar wire cutters on the capillary tube and it worked fine. If I didn't have a tool like this, I would keep them, but since I do, I will return these.

La tijera cumple su función para cortar tubo capilar de refrigeración sin ningún problema, no lo dobla como lo haría una pinza y te evita muchas molestias de estar improvisando con otras herramientas como cutters, tijeras, limas, etc. De esta forma haces un trabajo más limpio y profesional. ¿Lo recomiendo? Si. OBJECIONES: 1.- el precio se me hizo muy alto 450 MX, tal vez halla más baratas en el mercado. 2.- el gancho que sujeta a la tijera no lo retiene (lo hizo unos días) por lo que se abre y anda abierta en tu caja de herramientas, esto se puede solucionar aflojando el tornillo con una llave hexagonal o una allen (no lo hago aun porque no es gran molestia y es una herramienta pequeña, pero espero que se solucione con ello). 3.- NO lo puedes devolver, para que no te arrepientas después. Todo bien por parte de Amazon, cobro, envío y entrega.

I have filled cap tubes before, but this is a game changer for cutting cap tubes.

Los cortes son muy sencillos. Lo compré para cortar tubos capilares de acero inoxidable y sí los corta muy bien, pero el corte no queda perfectamente circular, como lo necesitábamos para meter un sensor más delgado. Supongo que con un puyón puedo corregir esa abertura.

Amazing quality and cutts perfectly every time. If your in refrigeration and deal with allot of cappillary systems this tool is amazing . i used to use a file and waist time but now one snip and done ! .
