These paint brushes were a spur of the moment purchase that I got to finish a small DIY job that required painting and clear coating. They're standard brushes, nothing special but helped complete the job nicely. They provided an even coat of both paint and slightly thicker clear coat giving the ideal finish to my project with multiple sizes of brush to allow me to get into small dints in the wood. I forgot to clean the brushes straight after I'd finished painting and got left for about 12 hours. When I got home from work I realised I needed to apply another coat so quickly threw them in some white spirit and left them for a few hours. After letting them sit and agitating them slightly, the brushes had stained, however I was using black paint, but they still dried well and allowed me to apply another coat of paint and a healthy layer of clear coat. For the price, these are cheap enough to not have to worry about making a mess of them but also being able to give you a solid result.

I picked up this brush set for some recent home decorating, and I’ve been really impressed with the quality for the price. Good paint brushes and good price

I wanted a budget set of brushes for a recent decorating job. It was one of those tasks that might ruin the brush, so I didn't want to pay a load of money, but I did still want a brush that wouldn't ruin the finish. Harris is a brand I know and trust, so I chose this mixed set. I have to say, I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of these brushes, and they gave me more than I was hoping for. The brushes are nice and soft, with accurately cut, fine nylon bristles that do not shed. They give me a good flat finish and are easy to work with. They are not the finest paint brushes money can buy obviously, but at the price being asked (around a fiver for the set when I purchased them) they do represent excellent value for money. They outperform brushes that cost far more, in my opinion, and for most decorating tasks around the home, they are perfectly adequate. I recommend them.

Good set of brushes. I would say the bristles are a medium. Puts paint on very well. Handles have a nice feel. Easy to clean after use.

Good brushes, used with gloss and Matt paint. Found all the brushes applied paint very well and were good for cutting in as well. So far so good on bristle loss as well. I thought these were very good value for the quality

They're ok for getting some cheap brushes. They malt a little bit when painting and leave a few brush marks but they did the job.
