Cover and illustrations are very nice. Bought this as a Christmas present for a friend. The recipes looked fairly simple. Hopefully he enjoys this.

An absolutely beautiful book for the price. The cover is like old leather and the photos are so beautiful and so sumptuous you want to eat and drink every recipe. The history that is included is also fascinating and part of the books charm. Anyone who loves Mexican cuisine will love this book even if they can't cook.

So glad I bought this book. It is rich with beautiful pictures, interesting stories/facts and awesome recipes from across Baja ! Every recipe is written in Spanish and English which is cool and I appreciate that the list of ingredients for each recipe is small. I am excited to start cooking !

Halfway between a great Cookbook and an amazing On The Road film. Both mouth-watering and adventurous. Makes you want to rent a bike and rush to the Baja, or at least to the grocery store closer to you! Stunning photos and great recipes, written both in Spanish and English. Love it!
