Grand Theft Auto V

I love this book, it is so comprehensive. No matter what mission I am on, there is a page for it. But, the mission things aside, that's only minor compared to the help with the vehicle and weapons stats. I love having the resource there when I am picking out a vehicle to use for online play or for specific missions. I know you can try to look it up online, but I really appreciated having the resource right there on the coffee table next to me while playing the game. And with the Brady Games line, the info is always legit unlike the random blogs you find online. I loved the illustrations included in the front and back leafs, and it made it feel more like a companion piece to my gaming experience rather than just a cheap guide with the cheats. The organization was pretty good, but I felt at times there were certain listings of the properties that could've been tied better to their missions. Just less flipping around. Other than that small con, it was totally worth the money, I love having the guide while I'm blowing stuff up in GTA.

This guide was incredibly helpful! It gives some great tips and walkthroughs of the main missions, but it's real draw is the in-depth information about the many, many sidequests that the game has to offer. With multiple maps pinpointing collections, stunt jump locations, and exact locations of things needed to complete the side missions, it's well worth the money. And unlike Prima Guides, Brady Guides always tend to have a minimum of missing or incorrect information.

Great strategy guide to help you get farther in the game

The GTA games remain my all-time favorite game console series, and this one tops them all. It is a HUGE geographical area with tons of eye candy and lots to do. The story line is engaging and characters have character. The AI and humor is great - I have had some real belly-laughs during interaction with others in the game. Without this Guide, I think I would miss way too much of the game! With the Guide, I was able to make a 5-page spreadsheet checkoff list of ALL activities to make sure I didn't miss anything, and a 6-page list of ALL the available vehicles in the game (this last with the needed help of internet research, however). The Guide could improve a little on its organization of information and maps, but my spreadsheet helps me find details in the Guide about any mission or activity I need guidance for. While the Guide isn't perfect, IMHO it is indispensable for extracting full value from the game.

I was looking for the user's manual when I came across this book. Thinking it the book was the the user's manual. Not, what wanting, until I started reading. They detail each of the stories, what needs to be done. Haven't run into any cheats, but do get detailed descriptions for each narrative, where to drive, even where to turn. A good book for anyone playing Grand Theft Auto V.

I've been buying Brady Games walkthroughs for over a decade; I've purchased a walkthrough for each GTA release and will continue to as long as the franchise continues. I was very stoked to find the guide online for less than $16.00; this guide retails at about $29-$39 for a used book and $45+ brand new. My book was not only less than $20.00 after shipping costs but was also brand spanking NEW. These guides can be resold if they're well cared for. Definitely a great guide if you want to see ALL that the game has to offer and it also helps you to complete the game with 100% accuracy.

If you are a game completionist that wants to get a 100% completion for GTA V, than this guide will be an invaluable asset for you! With so many hidden items, locations, and pick-ups in this game, you'd be very hard pressed to find them all without some guidance, and this book has mapped locations for everything you will go looking for!

A very useful guide, definitely better than watching the annoying YouTube guide videos...(psssst, guy behind the mic, nobody wants to hear you blab on about how awesome the damn game is...also edit your videos to be shorter and straight to the point...in HD...because it's 2013). But until this message is received by all the people posting walkthroughs, this guide will do quite nicely. Good tips and tricks for the stock market (which is primarily why I bought it), but also helps you build your character's stats up. Besides, it's a pretty cool piece of memorabilia, if you bought the Vice City guide in (2004?), you can compare, it was 1/4 the size.

Si para ti jugar a GTA V es algo más que completar las misiones de la historia principal en el menor tiempo posible, esta guía es lo que necesitas. Con ella no sólo tienes ayuda para esas misiones (con datos, por ejemplo, de con qué personaje puedes iniciarlas o cómo conseguir una medalla de oro en cada una de ellas), sino que además tienes absolutamente todas las demás actividades del juego, explicadas con todo detalle. Deportes (tenis, golf...), mini-juegos (dardos, carreras...), actividades secundarias (desde comprar un negocio hasta robar una tienda), todos los personajes extra que puedes encontrarte y que te dan más misiones, todos los objetos coleccionables... En fin, absolutamente todo lo que puedes encontrar dentro del universo GTA V, sea o no necesario para completar el 100% del juego. Ya había usado guías de Bradygames para GTA IV y Red Dead Redemption, y ésta se mantiene al mismo nivel de rigor y detalle. Además por este precio poco más se puede pedir. Eso sí: recordad que ESTÁ EN INGLÉS, como pone claramente en la descripción, y que es un poco absurdo dar una nota baja a un producto tan bueno como esta guía sólo porque está en otro idioma.
