Best Binders I've Found
I use a lot of these binders and they are the best of the one's I've tried. The "D" shaped rings keep the pages flatter. With round rings it seems like some pages get stuck on the left of the ring and some on the right. Not a problem with these binders. The EZ open is great. It is easy to open up the binder yet it doesn't pop open when you don't want it to. I don't know how that works, but it does.I like the fact I can print a cover sheet and an edge strip and just slide them in the pockets so the binder is clearly identified. I could even put a sheet on the back cover though I usually don't need to do that. The inside pockets front and back are handy for those things you need to hang onto but that don't need to be punched and put on the rings. Seems like there is always a receipt or some odd item that just doesn't belong anywhere else. Very handy. The binders say they are PVC free. I trust they are telling the truth. In any event, they don't seem to stick to things or unduly grab the ink off of documents, at least not in my experience. In 50-100 years perhaps I'll be able to say if they are "archival safe". Meanwhile, I can at least state that I've been using them for about 10 years and they haven't caused any damage yet. There may be a better product out there but if so, I haven't found it and I can't think of any meaningful way to improve on these.I personally like the 2" size. They hold a lot of material (540 sheets, it says) but they don't get too heavy and unwieldy which can happen with the 3" size. Still, it's nice to have choices and they have that covered too.Recommended.

decent binder for art storage
I purchased one of these as a temporary place to store small art prints and drawings and it fits the bill nicely. It's a bit thicker than I expected, but I appreciate the tilted ring (I didn't want the pages to get caught in the little spaces in front of and behind the binder rings and get marred) and the thicker quality.I love that the binder requires no wrangling with the actual metal bits to get it open and closed- there's a little mechanism on the bottom that you snap open and shut. A nice feature, especially since I have very unhappy memories of being a little kid and either getting my fingers caught in binders or having them snap shut "out of joint" and never working properly again. My only bone to pick is that the plastic pocket in the back of the binder was torn on arrival. Since this is just temporary storage and not for presentation or heavy-duty use, that was fine, but if you are looking to get these for important presentations where details matter or for a LOT of use, you might want to keep that in mind.

Sturdy, but lose the plastic wrap on the outside.
This is a sturdy binder that I bought for my job because the ones they supply us with here are so crappy and fall apart. I really like it, the multiple layers of sleeve pockets are nice for keeping different types of documents separate, and I haven't had any issues with the binder rings breaking off or getting stuck. I wish it didn't have the plastic 'protector' on the outside, though. You can't really see it in the pictures, but the same plastic film material that makes up the sleeve pockets also loosely covers the outside of the binder's surface. It's getting pretty wrinkly and cloudy on the outside from use, like plastic sheeting tends to do. I wish they had just left it matte black coating. We hand this over to customers to sign documents in, so the better the binder looks the better we look. I might just cut it off myself if I can figure out how to remove it cleanly.

Best binder I've ever owned
Cons: I will say that the labeling process still sucks, and the labels don't slide far enough into the plastic tabs. I centered my tabs, and now it turns out that the text for some tabs is blocked by the tab before it.Pros: The D ring is always my favorite, so that's a given, but I haven't had a binder yet that had such a good, overlapping clasp to keep it from pulling apart when you move a couple of hundred pages from one side of the ring to the other. I also like the lever to easily open the rings (though I do wish I could use it to close them, too). The extra pockets inside the front and back covers proved useful as soon as I started organizing, and I even used the pockets on the tabbed dividers more than I expected to, so I'm glad I went with this instead of a binder with regular, pocketless dividers.Overall, if laserjet ink doesn't transfer to the plastic, as it says it won't, then I will be happy with this for the long term. It sure seems like it will last for the long haul.

Great binder for a good price!
I've been using this binder for my school supplies for a while now and it is truly excellent.PROS:-Tough as nails! This thing has dealt with giant, hardcover textbooks being stuffed inside of it, shaky bike rides in a backpack with little space, rain, sun, you name it. The rings inside haven't degraded either, which I've seen many times in other binders. It's still as good as it was on day one.-Lots of space. You should have plenty of room for whatever you decide to put in here, and even if it's a bit overfull, it can still handle the extra stress.-Organization is great. There are 4 separate areas to store loose papers as well as the 3 rings.-Great design means that your stuff will never rip, become disfigured, or fall out.CONS:-...well, really, the only issue I have is that the pockets are so wide that my papers will occasionally slide to one side during a rough ride, but it's purely an aesthetic annoyance.Certainly the best binder I've ever used. Highly recommended!
