Litter Genie Plus Silver Cat Litter Disposal System and 6 Extra Refills

This is not a product I would have ever bought - until I moved into a 900 sq. ft. condo with 4 cats. I was really worried that in such a small place, no matter how much I scooped and threw away, there would always be an odor. This solved that problem - not a whiff comes out of that bucket once you close off the pullback lid. I store this in our utility closet and you would never even know it was in there.I use all natural, corn-based clumping litter, which expands slightly more than other clumping litters, and it still holds a lot. I scoop four litter boxes twice a day. I am impressed with how much waste it holds before you need a new bag. It's hard to say exactly how many bags I've generated, but I would say on average I go through a bag every 4-5 days. Not bad for 4 cats and 4 litter boxes, in my opinion.My only major problem with the product, and this is a major concern on most products I buy, it's clearly not environmentally friendly. I cringe when I think of these winding up in a landfill. If the bags were biodegradable, it would be perfect. That said, it's worth the tradeoff, for me at least, because it keeps my home clean and everyone happy and healthy.

Daily disposalof the litter box scoopings was not a realistic option for us. This litter disposal system suits our needs perfectly. The daily litter box scoopings are deposited in this container. (We do use clumping litter and the company’s disposabe bags.) There is no odor whatsoever and the used litter can be safely retained until disposed of. Everyone who has seen this product has been very impressed by it. Would definitely recommend this unit to friends and would certainly replace it with the same unit should we ever need to.

Good litter disposal system. What I didn’t like was the bags, which were just sheets of plastic, you have to tie the bottom. Then when the bag was full of waste you cut the bag and tie it off and throw it away.

We are snow birds and have 3 cats in our motorhome. Tight space, and this helps tremendously with the odor control. Love it so much, we will buy another for our house. 👍👍👍👍

This product is much sturdier than my old one. It’s easy to use and keeps Odors at bay.

I loved the idea of this product. It was great at keeping the smell down and super convenient but it was messy to use. Cat litter sprinkled everywhere when you dumped the clumps in it.

This litter system makes caring for our three felines much easier and cleaner.

What can I say. Everyone has their process for litter removal. But this is truly the least "smelly way I've found. I love not dragging my grocery bags to my trash can daily. Plus I get to use those bags for other things now :-)
