Kidney Bean - six pack of 1 pound

I soak two packages in plenty of water with about a tablespoon + of salt overnight in the fridge. Makes a big batch. They cook up so tender and creamy, you can mash them with your tongue. One of our favorite staples, we make enough to freeze several portions and it doesn't seem to affect the texture at all. These beans don't have the dark red skins of what I would call a kidney bean, they are a lighter pinkish-brown with a tender skin.

These are hands down the very best red beans I have ever eaten. Ever!! My Cajun friend introduced me to them. They are not hard beans so they don’t take long to cook, especially if you soak them for a little while. They deliver creamy and flavorful red beans and rice!!! I will never but another brand ever again.

If it doesn't read Camellas with a rose on the bag, you've got kidney beans. This is a fan favorite serve all over New Orleans. Make a wonderful meal over rice. New Orleans style - Add sausage, onion, bay leaves, ham. Serve with bread and butter and a bottle of hot sauce....JRB

Just what I've been looking for. I'm currently stationed overseas and boy I can tell you it's hard to find many ingredients like at home(New Orleans). Unfortunately, even at the commissary on base they don't sell these :( Thank God for Amazon! Now I can make a good ol' pot of beans just like my mama and grandma used to make.

I love these beans. My best friend from Louisiana introduced me to this brand for red beans and I not gone to any other brand. And you get them relatively fast which is a plus. Did I fail to mention they taste great?
