D'AddarioPro Arté Nylon Classical Guitar Strings, EJ44, Extra Hard Tension, 6-String Set, Pack of 1

First off, I want to say that I love how the strings sound and I love the brand, I consistently put them on all of my guitars from classical to steel string acoustic. That said I do have a problem specifically with the A .036 string in the extra hard tension sets. Sounds weird, but bear with me. This has happened for the last six times I have changed strings on a guitar using this set and usually within a month of changing them. The first two times I didn't think anything of it, but I started to get concerned the third time it happened, noticing that it happened on a day where the temperature had spiked from a low temperature to a moderately high temperature or dived from a high temperature to a moderately cold temperature from the day before. The string that popped today the temperature had dove from the mid 60s to the high 30s, coincidence or not it is a pattern. Being a $10 set of strings I can't keep changing them all the time. I'm now actively searching for a new kind of string to put on my classical guitars.

Strong strings, excellent tone, my favorite string I can't find "anywhere" outside Amazon :( please never stop making "extra hard tension" :(

Quality strings.

I bought used guitar strings once and one of the strings was like clipped and unusable.

I purchased these strings to use on my Yamaha GL-1 Guitalele, and I've found them to be more than adequate for the purpose. They give a noticeable feeling of higher tension when compared to stock strings, and even other standard hard tension strings. They sound big and bold on the Guitalele and definitely reduce problems with intonation when using standard guitar tuning. The only drawback I can find is that the G string is a bit thick, and, at least on the Guitalele, can sound rather dim. This, however, is the fault of the small fret spacing and scale of the instrument. I may replace it with a D string soon.Overall, I'm very pleased with them, and I'd highly recommend.

My high E string busted. I strung it up, played it twice, and within a month the high E snapped while it was hanging on the wall...I've had similar issues with D'addario strings on other instruments.I'm goin' back to Ernie Ball
