Great little stick
Purchased black 256gb stick to store a large amount of photo's. Currently have many USB sticks, but went for this one in particular as it has 2 different connectors so can be used both with a standard USB connected to a laptop, but also to a USB C to download from a mobile phone (its compatible with samsung). It is a lot smaller than i expected so keep it somewhere safe! The USB C connector has a flip-over cover to protect it, but strangely the normal USB connector end doesn't come with any cover. I think for safety when not in use a safety protection cover would have been better on both ends. USB connection in laptop port is a tight fit to get in and out. USB C fits mobile snuggly. Downloaded 200+ photo's from laptop to this sandisk in no time at all. Very impressed with it - dual connection is the way forward. Accessed downloaded photo's many times both using laptop and via mobile phone with no issues. Still loads of room left on stick for further photo's as required. Consider this item good value for money.

Robust, Fast, and Perfect for Extra Storage
I got the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 256GB, and it’s been fantastic! It plugs seamlessly into both USB Type-A and Type-C ports on my Mac and Android phone. Delivery was quick, and the transfer speeds are super fast. The 256GB capacity is great for freeing up space on my phone and laptop, especially for photos and videos. It’s well-built and strong—I’ve dropped it a few times, but it still works perfectly, making it great value for money. The included key ring holder is a lifesaver for this tiny USB, though I haven’t tested its water resistance, so I’m careful. It really shines in functionality! I have also tried and tested connection with TVs, greatly working.

Tbh was expecting little bit higher speeds, but for the price is very good!I run Opensuse on this usb, after the initial load ( around 20 sec ) there are almost no big delays, the usb gets pretty hot tho !

Perfect for Windows Recovery – Reliable and Fast
I bought the SanDisk Dual Drive Ultra Go 128GB specifically to create a Windows recovery drive for my laptop, and it worked perfectly. Setup was smooth, and the drive was instantly recognized by both my Windows machine and my Android phone. The dual USB-A and USB-C ports make it super versatile. After recovering Windows, I’ve been using it for regular file transfers between my phone and laptop—it’s fast and compact, with no need for adapters. The transfer speeds are solid, and I like the sturdy, swivel design that protects the connectors when not in use.If you're looking for a reliable USB drive for system recovery or general use, this one’s a great choice. Spoiler alert: it's NOT seamless!
"Seamlessly move content between your USB Type-C smartphone, tablets...etc"Well, that's not entirely accurate...Intending to use this drive to copy/back-up photos from my iPhone 15 Pro Max I quickly ran into snags:- trying to export over 3,000 photos hit into a 'You do not have permission to view this file' error. Odd, as they're all my photos, and I can view them all fine in iPhone Photos app. Drive works, I can see it in Files, format is FAT32- trying to export just 5 recent photos: copies over fine to the driveMaybe there's something odd about some of my earlier photos...who knows!Trying to get around the massive effort of manually selecting several thousand photos I decided to check out the Sandisk Memory Zone app, (features sounded exactly what I was looking for!).But after installing and getting nowhere (wouldn't detect the USB stick - even though the iPhone could), I checked several datasheets in Support and discovered the Sandisk Ultra Dual Drive Go isn't compatible with Memory Zone app on iPhone. So moving content over this USB drive is NOT seamless! It's very very seamy...One other concern: it runs REALLY hot! After just a couple of minutes trying to copy photos around, it was noticeably hot...and given its plastic body, that's worrying.I've given up on this for my iPhone - however I have been wanting a USB-C memory stick for other purposes, so I'll try it with the MacBook maybe, see how it works out.I just wish SanDisk had been clearer about which of their USB sticks actually work with iOS & Memory Zone, or better yet, just made their app work with all their current USB sticks!
