I purchased this for my 16 year old granddaughter. She loved it. I feel better knowing that she has something like this just as an added area of defense. I told my hairdresser and she had me order one for her 16 year old granddaughter. At some point, I will probably purchase one for myself. Would recommend for anyone. Noise alone is scary without actually using.

I was using this as a flashlight when someone started following me around. I pressed the other button for like half a second and he pulled a 180 and walked the other direction. I've never felt relief like that

I purchased two stun guns form this manufacturer and I will be keeping this one - and returning the other.This has a solid metal build, charged easily and seems to work well. No complaints, and it is affordable. It has weight to it, is somewhat unwieldly and conspicuous, but should do the job. Definitely not keychain size, like some of the reviews say. This needs to go in a bag or purse.

Crime is so bad in Denver right now that I find it to be imperative to arm myself for my own protection. With one in each hand, I can surely dissuade some scoundrel from victimizing me (or, some porch pirate from swiping my Amazon delivery).

I gave this to my girlfriends daughter as a gift, she likes it and feels safer. It’s a great deterrent/defense tool not to mention a confidence booster for ladies. Highly recommend to all women.

While I hope to never actually need to use on anyone, it seems like a great taser! I like the flashlight feature as well. Also fits nicely in a smaller purse as well.

I teach a self-defense class at a university. I purchased this product and tried it out in front of my students. One student held the Lipstick stun gun and was told I was going to try to take it away from her. Yes, the sound of her zapping it was somewhat intimidating. However, when I reached for it the zap she gave me didn't hurt as much as I thought (simply moving my hand away when she hit it more than neutralized it). I then grabbed the hand holding the stun gun to try to take it away from her. sadly, it immediately broke apart rendering it useless. I like the idea of stun guns for a deterrent--the sound it makes is impressive. However, a determined attacker will have little problem taking it away--or, in this case, breaking it in two.
