This is the first book in the Four Week Fiancé series. It is TJ and Mila’s story; it ends in a cliffhanger. Their story continues in Four Week Fiancé 2. The final book of the series follows Cody and Sally, their best friends.Mila Brookstone, twenty-two, is an enigma. She is both a realist and a dreamer. A recent college grad, she worked her way up from secretary to an assistant job in the buying department of her family’s business. The new job was not accompanied with a pay increase and she is frustrated that she isn’t allowed to make actual decisions. Sally happens to be in love with Cody, Mila’s older brother. Cody, however, is too busy with his playboy lifestyle to pay her any attention. Mila has had a crush of her own for years. Her brother’s best friend makes her want to hit him and kiss him at the same time. Each fall her family spends a weekend at their lake house. Mila’s best memories have happened there, in part due to the fact that her brother’s best friend normally attends, too. She is a woman now, a working college grad, but she knows it is up to her to make the first move so this year she has a plan to seduce him. Finding Mila’s enthusiasm infectious, Sally has ideas of her own.TJ Walker, twenty-eight, is a millionaire in his own right thanks to an inheritance from his grandparents. But he lives in the shadow of his billionaire father. He has plans for expansion and cost savings that will put the company in a strong position going forward, but his cheapskate father doesn’t have the foresight to see the value gained by a little up front investment. Instead, his father is pressuring him to do something that TJ knows is very wrong. He will do it, though. He has a plan, and he promises his father he will come through by the end of the weekend. But if the plan veers off course, TJ will be ruined.TJ and Mila had played a game for years. Flirting and arguing, even a kiss once she had turned eighteen. But both enter the weekend with a plan to bring their relationship to the next step. Their plans go down the drain, however, because they get caught up in their games. Things get complicated when TJ invites Barbie along as his date. Then Mila’s fake boyfriend Troy suddenly materializes, adding to the chaos. Many hurt feelings occur during the course of the weekend, but somehow TJ and Mila manage to get some alone time together. Mila has dreamed of a romantic evening leading to losing her innocence to TJ. TJ has other ideas, though. He likes danger. He likes dark and dirty. He wants to show her who he really is, but isn’t sure she will stick around once she knows him. Their story ends in a cliffhanger.TJ and Mila’s story begins here with a lot of romp and flirty banter. Mila is light and breezy – like a morning bird, according to TJ. She is also lonely, living too much in her head. Her lifelong obsession has been to marry TJ. TJ comes across as fairly normal, but he has a dark side. There are hints of a painful past and a lonely soul. He is poetic when inspired, and despite his aversion to romance, he seems quite capable when he puts his mind to it. Their story ends here with many questions outstanding. *Spoilers* Why does the length of time in the contact vary from the four weeks TJ asks for? Why does he require so much of her? What is the extent of his father’s involvement in his plan? How does Barbie factor into everything? Who was the second person TJ called? What are TJ’s true intentions? What happened at the business dinner? Why does Cody treat Sally so dismissively? What is behind Mila’s family company’s difficulties? Is Cody really so oblivious?TJ and Mila’s banter and explosive chemistry is highly entertaining, and their angsty relationship will keep you guessing what secrets TJ is hiding. Their story in nicely written. The plot is complex. There are light, laugh out loud moments, spicy scenes, and wickedly suspenseful twists. The cast of characters keeps things fluid and uncertain. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between TJ and Mila. I rate this book four stars.I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I'm confused and maybe doubt about the storytelling of Cooper's. I read some of her books and this new book has nothing common with her personal way to tell the story at all. It felt rushed and had gaps, expecially at the first half of the book (or farther), so I couldn't be connected with the characters or understand complitely their motives and thoughts.To make myself understandable...I'll start backwards.There's a man, TJ Walker! He is a 28 years old, gorgeous, sexy-hot millionaire, and he has dark ways to high himself. I can only describe his ways like this, because I didn't see many so far. Although, what I saw in the end of the book, was intrigue and hot, kinda BDSM, but that's an other story...So, TJ has an agenda. A secret agenda! He want's Mila to be his four weeks fiance. It's a farce, that's why it's for four weeks and the reasons are two: First, for his benefit to have her, body and soul, all for his pleasure, as Mila is forbidden to him by her brother and her family. Second, for his benefit to get a seat on the board of his father's company, but that's how he explaned to her the reason wanted her as his fiance. Third, and it's what I saw reading his POVs, it's because TJ realy carred and maybe loved her deep deep down, but he couldn't know any other way to show his feelings for her. I won't spoil his thoughts about having Mila or what he will be like when he'll finally have her. No, you have to read the book on your own. I can only say that...He is a mystery!And there's Mila Brookstone, a 22 years old woman, who kinda act and thought like a teenager, but she works at her family business and live alone, so that's a little strange all the teenager stuff for her character. She has a crash for TJ from her youth, she even has a journey talking about him daily. She wanted him to be hers for ever and she was all horny when she described her thoughts about the two of them together, whish was all the time. She's 22, why she has to think like 16? IDK! And that's the main reason I gave 3 stars to the book. It would be more interesting if Mila knew her self and what she wanted to do on her life, than have only imagine TJ on her bed and talk dirty all the time...However, what I like most was the secondary characters at the story. Milas grandfather, or her Nonno, is the light to keep her down to earth. He is wise and he love her very very much. Nonno knows her crash for TJ and he's ok with it but when things took new place and meaning, he had second thoughts about her happiness. Mila has also a best friend, Sally, who is more like what I would expect Mila would be as a main character. She is smart, organized, down to earth but few times acted as a teenager too. She always supported Mila's plans to have TJ but when he finally made his move and asked Mila to be his fake fiance, with all the baggage on tail, Sally has changed her mind about her friend's happiness too.So what is happening in the story?A tradition family trip at the Brookstone lake house, let Mila buy a sexy underwear with the thought to finally seduce TJ, as he always join them on this trip. It was her chance! After few encounters with him in the past, physically and verbally, she thought he might be interesting on her too.Most of the story took place at the lake house. Secret plans, fake boyfriends...and girlfriends, strong language and hard core situations between TJ and Mila,(the sexy underwear was used by the way) made the story very interesting to read and not wanted to put it down. It was a real page-turning tale from the beggining but when Mila acted as a teenager, was realy annoying. I think it would had a different confrontation if her stance was more mature. And maybe, the erotica genre Cooper wanted to put on the story will had it's capacity to succeed it. In the end, Mila is finally accepted TJ's offer and we see them in the most intimidating scene ever! And that's something to leave you wondering about!Vivi

I was lucky enough to receive this copy in exchange for an honest review.Mila has been in love with TJ Walker for most of her life, he is seemingly unaware of this, but as you read on you find he isn't as immune to Mila as he'd lead her to believe.TJ Walker needs Mila's help, he has secrets, but nether-the-less, he wants and needs her help. He plans to catch her and keep her for a short while, giving them both as much pleasure as possible whilst she's under his spell.I loved it! I loved the gradual build upIn the story and the fact that your left wondering what happens next. The twist that I didn't see coming until it was on the page (I'm not saying anymore, of I'll give it away), was brilliant.I can't wait for the next instalment to appear so I can finish the story. Well done!

Mila is totally hung up on the one guy she can't have, her brothers best friend TJ. At a weekend at Mila's parents lakeside house with TJ, Barbie (his girlfriend), Sally (Mila's bestie) and ofcourse Mila, who js determined to seduce TJ, things take a strange turn. TJ starts to show an interest in Mila, much to her surprise, as he's always called her dorky and teased her unmercifully. Mila doesn't know what's going on, but then TJ asks her to agree to a contract to be his finance for four weeks, and to give him her complete and utter trust in all areas without question, telling her that to get the approval of the men on his fathers board, he has to show he's in a committed relationship. I'm not sure what's going on as TJ's father is also in on the loot, but something stinks, and I'm afraid Mila is going to get caught in the middle.

My Four Week Fiance is beyond amazing. I loved it. Mila is a bit childish but I can live with that. Mila and Sally her best friend aim to make TJ jealous but then he shows up with a girl... “Barbie...” It’s a whirl wind from the beginning with fake engagements and awesome plot lines that leave you sizzling. TJ is everything I love; hot, sex on legs, a billionaire, a bit of a player, everything that threatens to ruin me. It was all games and ulterior motives.Nonno is one of the highlights of this book. His character is amazing and his connection to the story is hidden until the last moment.My favourite thing about this book is the way it proves that love acts. TJ, Nonno... all they want is to love her and protect her. This book surprised me and I like to believe that isn’t easily done. I almost hated the characters at time and struggled not to wake the house up when I was reading late at night and TJ and Mila did something to irritate me. I cried, I laughed, I smiled, I frowned, I almost shouted, screamed... you get the picture. This is definitely one for you to read.I really loved this book. It had a great combination of everything; humour, romance, sexual tension, drama...

Loved the dynamic between Mila and her brothers best friend TJ especially where she has a plan to seduce him and then he brings a girl with him to their vacation so things don’t go to plan!The chemistry is hot between the two of them.TJ needs Mila help and asks her to be his fake fiancé for 4 weeks as he needs to show the board he is settling down however there seems to be other secrets that he is keeping that Mila is unaware of.Really looking forward to the next book to see what happens next

I loved reading this book. I was thrilled when it finally came. I was counting down the days for when it was to be released. The little previews didn't disappoint, and it was as brilliant as I expected it to be. I have to say that the character Barbie is greatly annoying. I'd want to punch her in the face lol and it's only a book. I was kinda hoping that Mila would do it. I think Mila needs to be careful though because I have a million thoughts at the moment as to what TJ is up-to. I Hope he don't break her heart. And I would also like maybe to see a bit more Sally and Cody relationship in the next story. Oh and what I'd Barbie up-to with TJ's father. It was a fantastic read I really can't wait until part two comes out. I can't wait to see what happens between the two if them and also what TJ has planned and I hope it all works out for the best.
