Compact, easy to carry and works well.
Excellent little gamepad! The 8Bitdo Zero 2 Mini connects quickly via Bluetooth to my Switch, Windows PC, and Android phone with no issues. It’s comfortable to hold, responsive, and the buttons feel great for the size. A perfect compact controller for on-the-go gaming.

Does the job nicely.
I sometimes play games on my phone, mostly at work during lunch and breaks. But, I don't like on screen controls, so I wanted a dedicated controller for the phone. This little guy is perfect for that. I was using my switch joy cons on my phone, but I didn't like bringing my switch to work everydif. This is very small to throw in a bag, or even better, on a keychain. (You have to use a REALLY thin key ring, but it can be done. ) It's actually more comfortable to use than I thought it would be. I have large-ish hands for a woman (or at least longer fingers) and I really didn't have a problem with fat fingers or fatigue holding it. Granted, this is for short, time wasting gameplay. I haven't, and probably won't, use it for super long sessions. It's not a replacement for a pro controller or anything. In fact, some games will be unplayable due to only having one set of L and R buttons. Games that require a z set will be unplayable on this. But that's ok. Battery life seems good. I haven't played it until the battery dies. I have charged it at the end of each day (takes less than 20 minutes.) Usually, I get about 1 1/2-2 hours a day between my breaks and lunches and before work to play and it hasn't died on me yet, so it serves my purpose. Even though I really plan on only using it with my phone for quick on the go gaming, I did also pair it to my Switch, and tablet. Works just fine there. However, I ran into trouble with my laptop. It would not pair. My laptop recognized it, but kept saying there was no response. Not really a problem for me, but it does say it's compatible with windows. Might just be a problem on my end, but it is something to be aware of. So yeah, definitely gets the job done if you don't want to bring around a full sized controller everywhere. Would be wonderful for travel or as a backup while your regular controller is charging. Or for kids.

Solid controller... and tiny.
Great controller, extremely tiny. Battery life is great, I haven't counted but I get a few hours of use between charges so even when I use it a lot I'm only charging it every few days. It's well made and responsive, buttons and D pad are a little "clicky," very good for a controller this size. I've had no problem with Bluetooth pairing to Windows or Linux PCs, a few Android phones, an iPhone 11, a Kindle Fire tablet and to a FireTV. Most of them recognize it immediately and buttons work as expected without any programming or third party software needed. But be assured that it is TINY. My five year old son says it's too small and prefers to use a larger controller, but I'm a full grown man with large hands and I have no problems using it, other than feeling a little cramped after long gaming sessions. Has opened up a whole world of emulated retro gaming in my pocket for whatever device I brought.

Minor flaws but OK otherwise
I’m a big fan of the 8BitDo controller, and my first one lasted 3-4 years before I recently repurchased it. With the new one I like that it has moved to USB-C for charging. However, within a few days of use, the light indicator on the front stopped working. Initially I thought the whole stopped working given I have no idea when it is on, searching, or connected to my devices. This makes it somewhat challenging to use now though now impossible. Hard to know when battery is low too.
