Very tasty and so easy to prepare
For years I've purchased canned chickpeas. I read, though, that the dried ones result in a creamier and more flavorful bean. Well, let's try! Yes, it's true! They're really delicious, and ultimately less expensive than buying can after can. I soak them for a few hours and then cook them for less than 15 minutes in a pressure cooker, then 10 minutes of natural release. They come out perfect, and they're much smoother than the canned chickpeas. Also, I can control how much (or how little) salt I put in them. Win win! I've gone through three 4lb bags of these in the past six months (or less), and will continue to purchase them. I find that I prefer this brand to the smaller bags (familiar name brand) of dried chickpeas from the grocery store. These are somewhat larger and have a slightly better texture, in my opinion.

FANTASTIC little powerhouse full of great flavor
I've had chickpeas/garbanzo beans in the past but for some reason they became neglected for other types of beans over the years. I recently decided to go back to them, not exactly remembering their flavor, but wanted the nutritional value they offered included in my diet.It was to be great surprise they tasted far better than I remembered!I soaked for a day and a half, swapping out the water once during the process and then again prior to cooking for 45 minutes. I added nothing to the process, wanting to keep the bean plain so that when I added them to a dish or salad they could be seasoned, or not, as needed. On more than one occasion, I just grabbed a handful and ate as a snack, just plain. They have their own great flavor. What I liked especially about this brand is their care in cultivation and harvesting as well as packaging. I especially found I prefer the dry bean purchase as opposed to the canned simply for reducing other unnecessary ingredients, like salt and preserving agents.I'm grateful these beans are offered in the "Subscribe & Save" option.

Excelente producto

Very small chickpeas
These were OK. I have a very hard time finding dried chickpeas (or dried beans of any kind) in the grocery store these days. These beans seem to be of high quality. Their aren't any bad or discolored beans and I like the packaging and price. The beans are kind of small and took quite a bit of time to cook. My husband used them in soup and they still weren't fully cooked after 4 hours but I still gave them a 4-star because they are high quality and had a great flavor.

I love these beans!
I love the size and flavor of the beans. They are larger than any I have found from a can. I soak them overnight then cook them on high pressure for 11 minutes with a quick release in my Insta Pot. You can mash and make a burger or a vegan chicken salad sub. I add them to green salad, pasta salad, and pasta dishes. I make curry. I make a batch for the week every week so they are there for me for quick meal prep. I have them on subscribe and save so I never run out.

So much better than canned beans
After eating canned chickpeas for years, I finally gave these a try and discovered that there is a world of difference between canned beans and making them from dried. These are really high quality and much better than the ones I have bought at the supermarket in the past. Make sure you soak them overnight in salted water (I use 1 tbs per quart) - even if you have an instant pot, soaking them in salted water helps keep the skins intact, and you get a lot fewer blowouts.
