This is my 2nd brand and I like this one the best. They both smelled smoky but this one did have less of a severe smell. The first brand I ordered came in a dark plastic tub. I think the key is keeping AIR off of the butter. I personally re-wrap the plastic after every use and put it back in this bag.

Came on time, was good pricing compared to other products of the same ilk. Weight was perfect, was VERY pleased with that! Have tried a little bit so far and been very pleased. First time I have purchased Shea Butter and I will most likely purchase this product again. Made a little bit of lip balm with it and used it plain on my hands and I love the feel of it. So silky! Nice clear, clean ivory color. Comes as shown in a nice sized shipping box with bubble padding. I actually had room to use the box to gather items to make body butter later so am nice and organized.

Coming from Africa I know what real shea butter smells and looks like and trust me this is the best shea butter I have seen in the last 15 year that cheap thing they have in the beauty supply is not good. This one is more expensive but totally worth it. Both the smell and texture are great very easy to apply or whip. The smell is not great but not pungent it is not rock hard neitherThank you amazon prime for this great product now I don't have to go to Africa to get the real thing

It came on time and it was really fast. It came nicely packaged. The Shea Butter was so soft and it wasn't crumbly at all. And I rubbed just a little on my skin and it smoothed out perfectly. And that's what I was looking for... The only thing I didn't like was that it is to get it out of the resealable bag without breaking it. But other than that it really is a steal... And it's quality👏🏽

I don't understand all the good reviews. First of all, I use Shea all the time. I make products and go through a lot. My normal supplier was out. So I ordered this. It came with no organic labeling whatsoever. So I doubt it's actually organic. It also smells like old rancid oil and is so crumbly and gritty it's almost like powder. I can't make my products from this because it ruins the texture my customers are used to. Waste of money and time.
